‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday October 16: Marisa Has Secret Daughter, Luca Working with Victor – Cane Has Ransom Money – Doctor Controls Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, October 16, tease that secrets will stir up trouble in Genoa City. Both Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) have something to hide. Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) will tighten her grip on Sharon (Sharon Case) as Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) gets to work on Hilary (Mishael Morgan).

Noah (Robert Adamson) shows up to see Sharon at Fairview and is upset when he hears she doesn’t want visitors. Sharon hears Noah at the door, but Dr. Anderson shows him the visitation refusal form and he leaves. Dr. Anderson returns to Sharon, who doesn’t understand why Noah was turned away. Sharon doesn’t remember signing anything, but Dr. Anderson insists it was Sharon’s idea. At Dr. Anderson’s urging, Sharon decides to trust her and do whatever she says.

Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) tells Devon (Bryton James) that the ransom note had the clerk’s fingerprints on it along with Devon’s and Cane’s. In other words, there was nothing out of the ordinary. Dylan wonders how many people might be involved in this and adds that he’s just considering theories. Noah arrives and tells Dylan about being turned away at Fairview. Dylan says it’s not like Sharon to refuse to see her family.

Dylan calls Dr. Anderson and wants to know what’s going on. Dr. Anderson gives him updates, but Dylan wants to hear the news straight from Sharon. Sharon tells Dylan that she doesn’t want to see anyone and claims it was her idea. Sharon adds that she loves Dylan before hanging up. Dylan looks puzzled and Dr. Anderson gives Sharon more drugs.

Lily (Christel Khalil) notices how Cane tries to avoid talking about Hilary. Cane claims it’s because of the kids. They shouldn’t worry them. Lily goes to put something in the closet and a bag full of money drops down. Uh-oh. It looks like Cane’s got a secret. Speaking of secrets, it seems Marisa has a big one as well. Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) says he knows Marisa was pregnant with his baby when she left him.

Luca pulls out a picture of Marisa’s little girl and declares that he knows where she is. Marisa can have her back if she’ll agree to come with Luca. They can all be a family. Luca adds that Marisa has to choose if she wants to be with Noah or be reunited with her daughter. This child is a Santori, not a Newman. After going back and forth for a while, Luca convinces Marisa to live with him for one month in order to find out where her child is. Luca is thrilled and believes that’s plenty of time for Marisa to warm up to the idea of getting back together.

Later, Marisa admits the truth to Noah and reveals that Marco (Peter Bergman) gave her a place to stay when she was pregnant. After giving birth, Marisa felt she had no choice but to give her baby up for adoption. Marco said he found the child a good home, but in reality he just sold her to the highest bidder. Marisa insists that she has to live with Luca for a month or she’ll never know where her daughter is. Noah thinks there are other options, but Marisa says this is the only way. Elsewhere, Luca speaks with Victor (Eric Braeden) on the phone and announces that he closed the deal.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Dr. Neville is about to get down to business. Dr. Neville gives Neil (Kristoff St. John) some prescriptions for Hilary and warns him not to get caught. The doc will say Neil stole his prescription pad if need be. Neil returns with the meds and the treatment begins. Will Dr. Neville be able to help Hilary recover? Y&R rumors hint that Hilary will improve, but there are still going to be a few snags. Stick with the CBS soap to see the suspense build in this storyline.
