‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers December 14 – 18: Ashley Comes Clean About Stitch, Adam Chooses Between Victor And Jack

“The Young and the Restless” released the promo video on Instagram for next week. The teaser hints at a possible love triangle between Ashley Abbott [Eileen Davidson], Abby Newman [Melissa Ordway], and Dr. Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn [Sean Carrigan]. Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] must choose who he wants to work with—Jack Abbott [Peter Bergman] or Victor Newman [Eric Braeden].

The previews last week hinted that Abby would corner Stitch and demand he tells her how he feels about her mother, Ashley. Stitch reveals to her, “I told your mother, I loved her.”  Abby was horrified at Stitch’s admission. She tells him, “You think there will be a wedding after what you said?”

Abby goes to see her mother in order for her to collaborate Stitch’s story. Abby asked her with her voice cracking fighting the tears back, “Is it true, do you love Ben?” Ashley tells her, “I am going to tell you the truth.” The spoilers tease that Ashley will downplay the kiss and their feelings for each other, so her daughter will marry Ben.

Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] notes that Victor has some hold on her husband, Adam. She tells him to be careful because the line between love and hate is hard to distinguish.  When Adam visits with his father at Newman Enterprises, Victor tells him that the devil in the details, and he must choose a side and still with it. The rumors have hinted for a while that Adam will have a tough choice—either work with Jack or Victor.

Adam feels anxious when he thinks about turning on Jack; however, he cannot turn his back on his father out of fear he will reveal that he was Christian’s father. Chelsea worries that Adam is making the wrong choice, warning him not to trust in Victor too much.  Has Adam gone too far by aligning with Victor?
