‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers April 7: Dylan Finds Austin’s Murder Weapon, Gabe Tells Chelsea He Loves Her, Sage Taunts Chelsea

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday April 7, 2015 promise a Y & R episode where partial truths are revealed and dark secrets begin to come to light. While Paul conducts interviews for his duel murder investigation his son Dylan makes a shocking discovery that could absolve Sharon. Although progress in solving the murders is ostensibly being made there is no doubt that the Scooby Doo gang and others remain in extreme danger.  The CBS Soap Fans’ hearts will come close to breaking as Gabriel/Adam declares his undying love for Chelsea after Sage attempts to throw him under the bus.

The April 7, 2015 episode of The young and the Restless opens with Dylan [Steve Burton] questioning Sharon [Sharon Case] where she was when she said she was at the wedding. Sharon is upset and wants to know where this is all coming from? Dylan then informs Sharon that Courtney [Kelly Gross] has been murdered.

Noah [Robert Adamson] is still crying over Courtney’s body and the Scooby Doo gang are looking at the note. Everyone is shocked at what happened Kevin [Greg Rikaart] says Courtney was killed because she was doing her job too well and got too close to the truth. Stitch [Sean Carrigan] realizes the person who texted all of them wanted them to find her. Abby [Melissa Ordway] thinks the killer is trying to pin the murder on the gang. They hear sirens, the police show up!

Nick [Joshua Morrow] wants to know how they got from him defending Sage [Kelly Sullivan] to Gabe/Adam [Justin Hartley] attacking the Newman Family. Nick wants to know what happened to the boy he use to know. Gabe/Adam says he has a problem with Victor putting his needs before anyone else’s needs. Nick refuses to defend his father and Gabe/Adam accuses him of just being like Dear Old Dad.

Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] tells Sage she is lying Gabe is her friend! Sage tells Chelsea that Gabe/Adam is pretending to be her friend cause he wants her. Sage tells Chelsea to ask Gabe/Adam unless she does not want to know the answer.

Sage tells Chelsea she knows that Chelsea know the truth and she should admit it. Sage lets Chelsea know Gabe/Adam does not want the money; he wants nothing else except Chelsea. Sage keeps trying to convince Chelsea. Chelsea does not believe Gabriel would not con her. Chelsea demands Sage say what she wants to say and stop throwing out hints. Sage says, “Fine I will tells you but don’t say I did not warn you.”

Nick asks Gabe/Adam why he is acting the way he is that Sage is soon to be his ex-wife. Nick thinks there is another reason that Gabe/Adam is clinging to his marriage. Nick then asks Gabe/Adam who he is, because he is not the Gabe Bingham he use to know .

Sharon is shocked Courtney is dead. Dylan tells Sharon that Courtney was murdered. Sharon wants to go to find Noah and Dylan wants Sharon to give him explanations first. Dylan wants to know where Sharon was the last few hours to prove she was not near the cabin. Sharon says she has nothing to prove where she was because she was alone!

Paul [Paul Davidson] shows up at the Abbot Cabin. Noah does not want anyone to go near Courtney, they convince him to let the police near her. Paul wants to know what happened? Kevin tells him about the text messages about how they all were suppose to meet Courtney at the Cabin and how Abby found Courtney in the closet.

Paul wants to know if the Scooby Doo gang knows what happened. He especially wants to know what Kevin knows because Paul is suspicious Courtney’s cell phone was found next to the computer Kevin was trying to hack when he was suspended. Noah pipes up and says Courtney was killed because she was trying to find the killer.

Paul has no idea what killer and Summer tells him the one who killed Austin! Paul wants someone to talk. The Scooby Doo gang tell Paul Austin was murdered and they tell him all about what happened and what has been happening.

Sharon wants to go to Noah and be with him. Sharon tells Dylan she remembered something about the night of Austin’s murder. Sharon remembers that the driver show passed her that night threw something out of his window and she went to look for it. Dylan asks her if she realizes how bad this looks. Sharon swears she is innocent.

Sage tells Chelsea she knows that Chelsea is going to be shocked by what she is going to tell her – Sage starts to tells her Gabriel… the doorbell rings and Chelsea answers it there is a flower delivery. The card says. “Why would you settle for anything less?”

Chelsea asks Sage what she is trying to tell her? Finally Sage says, “if you want to know about Gabe/Adam ask him and you can start by asking if HE KNEW YOUR DEAD HUSBAND!”

Gabe/Adam tells Nick everyone changes. Nick tells Gabe/Adam he does not remember him hating the Newman Family in the past.

Nick’s phone rings Summer whining tells him Courtney is dead that she has been married. Nick says, OH…

Paul tells all the Scooby Doo gang to follow him back to the station. Noah does not want to leave Courtney… He is sobbing.

Sharon tells Dylan she needs him to be on her side. Sharon asks Dylan to find what the driver who passed her in the storm threw out of the window and Dylan says, “you wants me to find a needle in a haystack?”

Dylan asks Sharon about the message on the answering machine the body shop man wants to know when he can repair her damage on the car and Dylan is confused because Sharon said she already fixed the damage on the car. Sharon says the body repair guy is mistaken she already had the car repaired.

Dylan wants to know if it is really true she had a panic attack the night of the storm. Sharon gets mad and leaves!

Summer [Hunter King] tells Paul she cannot believe this is happening.. Paul asks Summer if she was furious when she found out Abby was having an affair with Austin? Paul is confused that Summer helped cover up Austin’s murder.

Paul continues to question each of the Scooby Doo gang in private. They are all telling Paul what happened. Kevin tells Paul to check the police surveillance videos and Paul says he cannot because a virus got to them. Kevin offers to help.

Kevin informs Paul that Austin was making a documentary about the Newman and the Abbott family. Explosive stuff!

Paul asks the logical question, did it ever occur to them to go to the police?

Nick shows up at the police station looking for Noah and Sage runs in hysterical. She wants to be there for him! Blah blah …

Gabe/Adam is at the bar and Chelsea drops a rose in front of him. She tells him she got the roses. Gabe/Adam says he hopes his relationship with Sage would be the same of hers and Adam’s. Chelsea tells Gabe/Adam he is GOOD, she is off her game and cannot believe she did not see it.

Adam/Gabe says it is Sage she is putting ideas in Chelsea’s head. He asks if she is going to believe a liar and Chelsea says, “DEPENDS ARE YOU GOING TO DENY YOU KNEW MY DEAD HUSBAND???”

Gabe/Adam tells Chelsea he owes her the truth. Gabe/Adam says, “I loved Sage and Sage is all about the money. When I got to Genoa City I saw you and I knew it was you – you are the women I have been searching my entire life for. I knew I had to do whatever it took to get you even though you were taken.” Gabe/Adam then admits he found out all about Adam, he wanted to know what it was about Adam that made her love him so much even in death. He wanted to be the type of man she could never stop loving. Chelsea asks if he ever met Adam and he says, “I see him every time I look in your eyes”

Nick is at the police station and hears Sage saying she did not want him to be alone and Sharon walks in. She is not pleased Nick did not call her and Sage is there. Sharon freaks at Sage and tells her she should not be there, it is not her place.

Paul is interviewing Kyle [Lachlan Buchanan] Kyle’s story is he headed to the cabin the night of Austin’s death to tell Summer Austin was cheating on her. Kyle claims he did not kill Austin. Kyle tells Paul Sharon has a motive.

Mariah [Camryn Grimes] tells Paul Sharon is not capable of killing someone. At the top of at Mariah’s list is Victor [Eric Braeden] and Nick.

Nick and Sharon hug Noah. Paul wants to question him.. Sharon and Nick don’t want him to but Noah agrees to be questioned.

Dylan has gone looking down the road where Sharon crashed the night of Austin’s murder and he is walking in the woods with a flashlight trying to find what the driver who passed her threw out of their window .

Paul is questioning Noah and asking what Noah thinks of Nick and Sharon’s innocence. He asks if there is someone Noah thinks is guilty and Noah says, “Your son, DYLAN!” Paul is shocked that Dylan knows Austin was murdered.

Sharon comes in to the office to see Sage. Sage apologizes and Sharon makes a snarky remark. Sage says she is leaving but Nick tells her to stay.

Paul tells the Scooby Doo gang he might have found the killer if it was not for them. Paul tells them to keep their mouth shut and don’t mention to anyone Courtney’s death was connected to Austin’s or one of them could be next!

Gabe/Adam tells Chelsea he did not think she was ready to hear he had feelings for her. Chelsea tells him she loves Billy but Gabe/Adam says, “how much? As much as you loved your dead husband or as much as you could love me?” Chelsea tells Gabe/Adam to stay away from her!

Abby tells Stitch that the killer could be at the Athletic Club he could be anywhere. Stitch swears to protect her and Abby says ya Noah was going to protect Courtney too!

Over at the police station the gang are leaving. Noah tells everyone he is fine. Sharon and Nick each hug Noah and he sobs while Paul watches.

Dylan is still in the woods with the flashlight looking around. He sees something… He takes a cloth out, he picks up the item, it is a tire iron. (Austin’s murder weapon) His cell phone rings and it is Paul he tells him he needs him to come to the station right away. Dylan asks what it is about and Paul says, “I think you know!” Dylan says, “NO I DON”T!” Paul says, “I have reason to believe you have information on Austin Travers murder.”
