‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 28: Flack Learns Valuable Info About Gabe, Victoria Causes Chelsea To Quit Jabot, Child Protective Services Take Faith From Nick

‘The Young and the Restless” spoilers for April 28 lay the groundwork for an explosive week ahead.  Victoria has let her new position at Newman Abbott go to her head and she has already driven away a valuable employee.  Meanwhile, Flack has a volatile conversation with Gabriel which leads to him finding out important information about Mr. Bingham… which he will quickly share with Victor.

The April 28th episode of Y&R opens with Chelsea [Melissa Clair Egan] and Billy [Burgess Jenkins] – Billy gets a call it is a 1-800 number and he hangs up on it he does not take those calls. Billy thinks Chelsea is jumpy meanwhile she is thinking of making out with Gabriel [Justin Hartley]. She assures Billy she is fine nothing is wrong. She has to go to the office but feels it is weird going to Jabot witt Billy working there.

When Chelsea is gone Gabriel/Adam shows up he has to talk to Billy.

Over at The Underground Nick [Joshua Morrow] is upset he is being sued for civil battery by the reporter he hit the other day. News flash Nick you cannot hit people!

Sharon tells Dylan [Steve Burton] that Michael is going to be released from the hospital but Sharon is glad the judge agreed to let Dylan babysit her while Michael was in the hospital. Both of them talk about their respective mates and what they are doing and Sharon asks him why they keep making excuses for the people who break their hearts

Over at Jabot – Ashley comes in and Victoria’s name is on her old office door. Victoria and Victor are discussing how they are going to change the packaging design for HEX but Ashley tells them they need to target a high-income bracket. Victor tells Ashley they have to do another study to verify the original data. Ashley wants to wait for Jack but Victor tells her Jack is not going to be there today.

Phyllis storms into Jack’s house with Flack and she is furious she cannot believe he did not get a speeding ticket for the way he was driving and Flack says they were too busy admiring his car. Flack tells her they are the cool kids now. He starts kissing her and she asks if he is going to work and he says he is not. Phyllis is shocked and wants to know why he is not going.

Nick tells Sage why he hit the reporter. Sage [Kelly Sullivan] agrees with what Nick did because he was just on his kid’s side. Nick leaves and Chelsea comes over to Sage and asks if she has seen Gabriel because she is not able to get a hold of him.

Gabriel/Adam tells Billy he needed to get away for a while but when he heard about the Jabot merger he had to come back. Billy fills in Gabe/Adam why Jack merged with Victor [Eric Braeden]. He then lets Gabe/Adam Jack fired him. Gabe/Adam is shocked Jack chose Victor over Billy. He cannot believe Jack is now loyal to Victor. He is speechless.

Ashely [Eileen Davidson] asks them if Jack is sick – but they tell him that Jack trusts them. Victoria [Amelia Heinle] asks Ashley to get her some papers and numbers and Ashley sarcastically says, “Do you wants coffee too.” Victor jumps in and defends Victoria. Ashley agrees to get the papers but warns Victoria not to treat her like her assistant

Victoria is as surprised as Ashley that Jack did not come to work. Ashley thinks Phyllis is the reason.

Flack asks Phyllis if she is really mad he wants to stay home with her. Phyllis says she is curious she does not understand an all out surrender by Jack. Flack says he trusts Victor and asks her to come sit on his knee. Fake Jack tells her the honeymoon is never over – Phyllis looks concerned.

Sharon [Sharon Case] and Dylan talk about Avery and her being with Joe [Scott Elrod]. Sharon thinks Avery will be back soon but Dylan is not sure. Dylan tells Sharon him and Avery don’t have a lot holding them together they lost a baby – at the time he was not ready to be a dad and now he is sorry he would like to be a Dad.

Billy tells Gabe/Adam he is busy and Gabe/Adam gets mad and asks Billy if he is giving up giving the family business to Victor Gabe/Adam taunts Billy and calls him a quitter. He asks Billy if he is bluffing and tells Billy he has to put his cards on the table. Billy agrees and asks Gabe/Adam to tell him about Chelsea. Billy does not appreciate Gabe/Adam telling Chelsea she is going to regret marrying him. Gabe/Adam says she will, she needs more time to get over Adam. Billy does not care what he thinks and they are getting married. Gabe/Adam tells Billy Adam is still living in the apartment.

Chelsea tells Sage she and Gabe/Adam had a misunderstand and asks Sage to call him but Sage tells her not to worry Gabe will be okay.

Chelsea leaves and Nick comes back – Sage offers to help Nick – he starts telling her about Faith. He gets a call, it is the Doctor and he tells Nick Faith is with the police

Sharon consoles Dylan – he tells her when it Avery and he lost the baby. It happened when he had an affair with Avery. Avery thought she lost the baby being punished for the affair. So he left for another tour of duty. Dylan thinks maybe he was not meant to be a Dad. He tells Sharon she is easy to talk too.

Nick comes into the hospital and wants to know what is going on. Apparently Faith told the doctor about how Nick got mad at a reporter and how Faith is worried Nick will be get mad at her like that someday. So the doctor called Child Protective Services and Faith is not going home with Nick. Nick is furious.

Ashley comes in and tells Victor and Victoria she ran the analysis on their top markets for HEX. Chelsea comes in – They are anxious to see her new designs She hands them to everyone. Ashley says they are great but Victoria says, “They are nice, but I was expecting bigger blocks of color and it is not quite in line with our creative content I am afraid. I am going to put these in a focus group. We have had a lot of success doing that” Chelsea is not pleased and tells her that she has had a lot of success without them and she is not taking advice from paid amateurs. Victor tells Chelsea she has no choice.

Chelsea is surprised Victor has always supported her work. Victor tells Chelsea Victoria has a vision – a better view and he has confidence in her. Gabe/Adam walks in and says, “Oh ya, that would make you a fool.” Everyone looks at him.

Victor asks Gabe/Adam what he is doing there and he tells Victor, “Chelsea could be working for any fashion house in the world, you should be glad to have her.” Victor asks him to leave and Gabe/Adam replies, “Actually I would rather stay right here”

Phyllis asks Billy if he is there to apologize to Jack. Phyllis tells Billy something changed for Victor and Jack in the crash – it is over and he and Jack are partners. Billy tells Phyllis if they all work together they can fix it and Flack walks in and says, “That is EXACTLY why you are no longer working at Jabot and if you keep stirring things up with my wife you ARE NO longer welcome in my house!”

Gabe/Adam tells Victor he is the director of Marketing and in charge of Chelsea’s line. Victor ignores him and tells Victoria, “Make a note about the branding of Victoria’s line, okay?” Chelsea gasps, “WHAT??” Gabe/Adam tells Victor if he loses Chelsea it would be a mistake. Victor ignores him and tells Victoria they have to review the employee file and Chelsea says, “Don’t even BOTHER I QUIT! I am not getting caught in the middle of this battle”

Gabe/Adam follows Chelsea out, she thanks him for standing up for her. Gabe/Adam tells Chelsea he went away he needed a break. Chelsea tells him she appreciates him not saying anything to Billy about their indiscretion but he tells her he knows she cannot forget what happened between them.

Billy asks Flack what is wrong. Flack tells Billy that he is his brother and he has to trust him – Billy should come back to work and it all should be okay. Billy is not listening and tells Flack that he is certain something is going on and he is going to find out. This is not about Flack he is hurting people that love him.

Dylan is speaking to Avery [Jessica Collins] and she is telling him Joe is getting settled he asks when she is coming back but she cuts him off and hangs up.

Sharon tries to cheer up Dylan and tells him jokes. The start laughing with each other and they have a “Moment” Sharon gets up and says she is going to the kitchen.

Nick wants to know what the hell the doctor was thinking calling CPS – the doctor responds she needs to find out if Faith has reason to be afraid of Nick. Sage tells Nick to calm down but Nick says, “I will not.” The doctor leaves and Sage tells him he really needs to calm down he is going to make the situation worse.

Victoria feels she may have pushed Chelsea about the focus group too far but Victor tells her not to second-guess herself. She leaves and Victor tells Ashley he will send her names for replacements for Chelsea and Ashley reminds him, “Maybe you should have thought Chelsea could stop you from seeing Connor. Connor is his only link to Adam and you do want to lose that!”

Phyllis asks Flack if he wants to talk about what Billy said but Flack says he is Teflon. The doorbell rings and it is Gabe/Adam – he is furious he confronts Flack and says, “You merged with Victor, What The Hell were you thinking.” He puts his hand on Jack’s head to see if he has a fever and Phyllis tells him not to speak to her husband that way!

Gabe/Adam tells Flack Victor [Eric Braeden] is going to shake your hand with the right and stab you in the back with the left. Flack says Victor has changed. Gabe/Adam asks if he is high. Flack tells him he can follow Billy out the door!

Chelsea is home talking to Billy – she is furious, Victor has always supported her work she does not understand what is going on. She says Gabe/Adam understood and that he stood up for her. That does not please Billy.

Billy tells Chelsea that Gabe/Adam stopped by because he heard about the merger. Chelsea wonders what they will do with all the free time now that they have because they are both unemployed. Billy asks her to get married that night

Victoria is at the hospital she is shocked because she knows Nick would never hurt Faith. Nick tells Victoria to tell Faith she is having a sleep over with her cousins. Faith will be going home with Victoria. Victoria tells Sage she is glad she is there for her brother. Nick agrees.

Chelsea is shocked he wants to get married that night. He gives her many reasons she tells him it is not necessary she agrees to get married that night why, should they put it off. She goes to pack. Billy is surprised and happy.

Ashley [Eileen Davidson] tells Victor she knows he misses Adam. Victor says he cannot forgive what Adam did to Deliah. Ashley says it is ironic, “The final straw for you with Adam was when he joined forces with Jack to take Newman and now here you are forming your own alliance with Jack. Wonder how Adam would feel about that.”

Gabe/Adam is shocked Flack is firing him. Phyllis leaves. Gabe/Adam is angry and says, “I don’t know what is happening here, I am a step behind. Tell me what is going on, what is the plan?” Flack reponds, “I told you the truth now get out of my house.” Gabe/Adam is confused, “Jack we both want the same thing right? Now I am not going to give up before I get it with or without you I can do it on my own I am not going to stop till Victor is brought to his knees.” Flack says, “Well listen to you ranting and raving just like the rest of them you are not even an Abbott.” Gabe/Adam, “You know I am not an Abbott you know DAMN WELL I AM NOT A BINGHAM either.” Flack looks on surprised and curious.
