‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 24: Michael Collapses, Avery is going to Chicago With Joe, Devon rejects Hilary, Colin Warns Lily

The Young and the Restless spoilers for April 24, 2015 have Sharon worried about her case and feeling Michael thinks she is a lost cause.  Joe has agreed to be transfer to a rehab facility and Avery has decided to go with him to get him settled.  Colin is worried that Lauren is a threat to Lily’s marriage and tries to warn her.  Michael has been ignoring his oncologist which has serious consequences.

The April 24, 2015 episode of Y&R opens with Dylan [Steve Burton] arguing with Michael’s [Christian LeBlanc] idea for Sharon’s [Sharon Case] defense. Michael says the tire iron should be tossed and the state will have to throw the case out so he is not worried. Dylan and Michael continue to argue.

Dylan thinks they should work on proving Sharon is being framed. Michael argues with Dylan he feels the clock is ticking, the state’s evidence is pointing at Sharon. Sharon comes down and asks Michael if he thinks she is a loss cause.

Avery [Jessica Collins] is still with Joe [Scott Elrod] at the hospital she gets a call and tells them she is not taking new cases. She tells Joe she is where she wants to be, with him. Joe has decided he is not going to fight the doctor who wants to send him to Chicago for therapy. Joe goes on with more woe is me and Avery continues to be his cheerleader.

Joe asks Avery to pack up his apartment – she is confused why he would want to do that if he is coming back to Genoa City.

Lily [Cristal Khalil] tells Cane [Daniel Goddard] she misses seeing him during the day not that he is working for Lauren. That is why Cane came to spend some time with her he misses her too. Jill [Jess Walton] comes into the Athletic Club with Colin and comments that Lauren [Tracey E. Bregman] is working Cane to the bone and he should be careful what he wishes for.

Hilary [Mishael Morgan] comes into the cafe and where Devon is and tells Devon [Bryton James] he cannot avoid her forever. She wants to know if Devon still loves her likes she loves him. Devon wonders why she cares what he feels. Hilary explains because Devon is the best thing that ever happened to her. Devon is not happy because Hilary slept with the ADA, Winston.

Cane tells Jill it is a new job so he is busy but it will settle down. Colin Jill asks Cane if he is sure it is the right job for him. Cane says, “so far, so good it is like a real partnership.” (Implying to Jill when he worked with her it was not like a partnership.)

Sharon asks Michael if it is over and there is nothing to do for her. Michael is upset he feels Sharon always jumps to the worse conclusions. Meanwhile Michael’s doctor called and Michael ignores the call. Sharon is becoming worried because she feels Michael is worried about her case. Dylan tells Sharon not to lose hope.

Lauren walks in Sharon’s house, she tells everyone she has come to see how things are going. Michael offers to take Lauren to lunch, they leave. Once they leave Sharon tells Dylan to get out she cannot take any of his false hope.

Joe explains to Avery he has not decided if he is coming back to Genoa City. He does not know how long he will be in Chicago and it is better to put his stuff in storage. Avery is not happy but she says she is happy to help. Avery offers to come with Joe to Chicago.

Hilary tells Devon she blamed herself for what happened to Neil [Kristoff St John]. She she took an opportunity to save Neil, seducing Winston worked. Now that Neil is saved she wants Devon and her to find their way back to each other.

Lauren apologizes for interrupting him [Michael], Dylan [Steve Burton] and Sharon. The two walk into the Athletic Club and Jill and Cane ask how he escaped and Michael says, “Lauren busted me out I needed a lunch break.” Lauren tells Cane they need to have dinner with a reporter that night. Cane does not want to go because he had plans with Lily but Lily insists he go.

Joe tells Avery it is incredibly generous but he does not want her to go with him to Chicago. Avery argues with him, she feels the accident was her fault and she wants to help him and go with him for 1 or 2 weeks. Joe agrees it would be nice but wonders how Dylan is going to feel.

Sharon goes downstairs and Dylan is still there she wants to know why he is not gone. Sharon complains about how guilty she looks she does not think there is anyway she is getting out of it, she keeps wallowing in self-pity. Dylan gets angry and tells her she is right he has been working his butt of to prove she has been framed but he realizes the reason he cannot help her is because SHE IS GUILTY, SHE IS THE KILLER!

Sharon is shocked she thought Dylan knew she was innocent. Sharon tells him she is innocent and Michael is going to make sure she does not go to prison. Dylan smiles and says, “that the Sharon who is going to beat these charges, the feisty Sharon. Not the one wallowing in self-pity.” Sharon says, “gosh my heart sank I thought I had lost my last friend.” Dylan thinks they have to keep fighting and getting more people on Sharon’s side.

Devon tells Hilary there is now hope for him and Neil but if he reconciles with Hilary that chance is gone. Hilary agrees she understands and she leaves.

Lauren asks Michael why he pressured Cane into breaking plans with his wife. Lauren thinks it is a nice for a husband to want to be with his wife. Lauren feels Michael has been avoiding her and his oncologist. Lauren asks Michael why he missed his last appointment. She continues to pressure Michael and tells him she thinks he is holding something back but Michael gets mad and says, I refuses to let the disease take over my life and I will not let you treat him like a child. I have a big case.” Lauren leaves frustrated with Cane to check some boxes.

Avery calls Dylan to tell him Joe is being transferred to Chicago and she would like to accompany Joe to help him get settled. Avery says the accident has changed Joe it has broken his spirit and she wants to go for a week. Dylan says, “Ya I get it you need to help the guy let me know how it goes.” Avery says, “It is going to only be for a few days, I love you Dylan”

Avery tells Joe Dylan is okay with her going to Chicago with him.

Meanwhile Sharon can see Dylan is not pleased and tells him. Dylan feels it is going to happen whether he likes it or not so… Sharon tells him to go to Avery and tell her how he really feels.

Jill wants to know what is going on with Michael and Lauren. Michael tells her none of her business. He has a client to defend. Jill asks him to stop the bull and tell him what is going on

Colin thinks Lily is more upset than she lets on. Colin warns her not to let other people get in the way of her relationship with Cane.

Lauren and Cane are going through the boxes and she starts crying. Cane consoles her.

Avery comes to Sharon’s and is surprised Dylan is not there. Sharon says she knows what house arrest is and she does not need Dylan and Michael always there. Sharon is surprised Avery does not believe she in innocent after all Avery defended her once before and Avery says, “Yes but I have gotten to know you better since then.”

Dylan comes into Joe’s hospital room and Joe tells him Avery is gone. Joe is glad he stopped by so they can have an honest conversation and Dylan agrees he wants to get things straightened out.

Hilary comes to Devon’s place and tells him she won’t let things end that way.

Michael tells Jill he is still coming to terms with things and sometimes he needs space. Lauren is too focused on his illness to see it – she means well. Jill says, “she is sure her questions and concerns are stifling. But she is sure Lauren feels they are drifting apart. If u can explain it to me why can’t you explain it to Lauren.” Michael agrees she is right he owes his wife an apology.

Lily laughs and says to Colin, “Cane and Lauren don’t be ridiculous.” Colin goes on and says Lauren has cheated before and if she is upset at Michael she might looked elsewhere, keep an eye on your husband.

Lauren apologies to Cane but Michael and her are not in a good place. She makes a joke about the merchandise they are looking at and they both start laughing unbeknownst to them Michael comes to the door and when he sees them laughing he leaves.

Joe tells Dylan Avery is going to take him to Chicago and he knows how Dylan feels about it. Joe understands why Dylan does not trust him. Joe admits he did everything he could to get Avery back. But, Joe knows now Avery will never be his after that fall.

Sharon asks Avery what she meant when she said she knows her better now. She asks Sharon does that mean she would not have defended her. Sharon calls Avery a hypocrite and Avery tells her she does not care what Sharon thinks of her but unfortunately 2 men she cares for are determined to keep Sharon out of jail – so I hope you are not guilty for their sake.

Sharon asks, “So you don’t think I killed two people?” Avery agrees and responds, BUT, I did not think you were capable of burning down the Newman Ranch or falsifying Summer’s paternity.” Avery is frustrated and leaving and says I don’t care anyway have Dylan call me! Sharon calls Avery smug and tells her Dylan left to find her and tell her he was not pleased she was going with Joe to Chicago. Sharon feels Avery has been lying to everyone and she really wants Joe.

Colin tells Jill that Cane and Lauren are getting so cozy. Colin is not worried about Cane he is worried about Lauren. Colin suspects Michael is pushing Lauren into Cane’s arms.

Lily shows up where Cane and Lauren are looking in boxes. Lily tells them she decided to take her husband to dinner after all Lauren tell him go have fun.

Devon tells Hilary they can never go back to how they were. She asks if they can be friends – she wants him in her life, however she can get him. He is the love of her life.

Dylan is skeptical of what Joe is saying. Joe tells Dylan Avery is coming with him out of pity he sees it in her eyes. Joe claims he does not want the trip to cause trouble and offers to tell Avery not to come. Dylan tells Joe Avery makes her own decisions.

Avery is angry at Sharon and says, “You would love it if I wanted Joe, your thrilled to have Dylan being your White Knight. You cannot go two minutes without a man in your life. Not surprising your obsession with the men in this family, you have gone through them all even Victor.” Sharon yells, “You bitch!” Michael walks in and screams, “Avery! Ladies please that is ENOUGH!!!” They continue to argue. Michael keels over, collapses and falls into the chair.

Avery and Sharon turn around and gasp, “Michael??”

That is it Y&R fans!  Do you think Hilary is crazy thinking Devon would take her back?  Does Sharon heading to Chicago with Joe mean the end for Sharon and Dylan?  Will Joe use Avery going with him to get Avery back?
