‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 2: Dylan Questions Sharon, Guilty Memories Return – Cane Wants Control Of Chancellor – Phyllis Suspects Joe

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for April 2 are setting up a fight for Chancellor Industries between Cane and Jill.  The residents of Genoa City will be attending a wedding this week and Sharon starts to remember more about the right of Austin’s death.

On the April 2 the Y&R episode opens with Avery [Jessica Collins] comes to see Joe [Scott Elrod] he wants to see her about the charity he needs a $1 million donor. Joe wants Avery to have dinner with Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] and Jack [Peter Bergman] who he thinks are possible donors. Avery is hesitant; she still does not fully trust Joe. Joe assures her, strictly business. Sure it’s strictly business Joe.

Jack is nervous and not thrilled to be going to dinner he is worried about the hacker at Jabot. Finally Jack agrees but he is surprised Phyllis accepted Joe’s invitation. She admits to Jack she is worried about Avery. She hopes the dinner will show her what Joe is REALLY passionate about.

Cane [Daniel Goddard] tries to convince Jill [Jess Walton] how to maximize profits at Chancellor but Jill does not agree. Jill shuts Cane down and reminds him she makes the final decisions. Cane tells her he wants to restructure how things are done at Chancellor.

Michael [Christian Le Blanc] apologizes to Lauren [Tracy E. Bergman] for how bad he behaved last time she tried to surprise him. Michael tells her his treatment is almost over. Kevin [Greg Rikaart}] comes in and Lauren leaves.

Michael called Kevin to talk about his suspension. Michael wants to know what is going on.

Dylan [Steve Burton] comes to see Sharon [Sharon Case] he wanted to check on her. Right behind him Noah [Robert Adamson] and Courtney [Kelly Gross] walk in too. The young couple tells Sharon they are getting married. Sharon is thrilled. She asks when the wedding is and Noah says, tomorrow!

Cane tells Jill circumstances have changed. Cane is not happy Colin [Tristan Rogers] is by Jill’s side making decisions at Chancellor. Cane reminds him she promised Colin would not be involved in Chancellor.

Michael asks Kevin why he was trying to break into the police computer and Kevin tells him, to trust him, he was using his super powers for good things. Michael asks what the big secret is. Kevin tells him it is not a big deal. Michael is pissed and tells him if he wants to wreck his life h can go ahead and do it.

Sharon is surprised they are getting married tomorrow but congratulates them. They want Sharon and Nick at the wedding. Noah tells her they don’t want to wait life is too short…Sharon gets weepy and is happy for them.

Jack, Phyllis, Avery and Joe are sitting at table and Joe and Avery are telling them about the charity. Jack thinks it is a worthwhile cause. Joe tells them it is personal to him because he was one of, “those kids.”

Colin walks up to the table where Jill and Cane are and Cane tells him to go away. Jill tells Cane he is jealous of her and Colin because his marriage to Lily [Christel Khali] is not going well. Jill tells him to stop stressing about Chancellor and put the time into his marriage. Jill gets up and leaves.

Colin tells Cane before he leaves he has two words for him, “Move on.”

Kevin apologizes to Michael for upsetting him. Michael tells him not to come to him when he is in trouble again!

Courtney shows her ring to Sharon who loves it. Noah is surprised to see Dylan there and says as much. Dylan explains he is there to find the truth; he is there to question Sharon. Noah is not happy, he is sick of people getting into his mother’s head

Noah finally tells Sharon Austin [Mathew Atkinson] was murdered and Dylan thinks she did it.

Sharon is shocked Austin was murdered … Noah tells Sharon how he knows and that someone is threatening them. Noah also lets Sharon know people know that she gave the interview to Austin. He then reveals to Sharon that it was Kyle who left her the message on the mirror. Kyle hoped to get her to confess to murdering Austin.

Sharon is mad and she tells Dylan she is innocent and she tells Noah and Courtney to go plan their wedding.

When Sharon and Dylan are alone she asks him when he stopped being her friend? Dylan explains he knows she didn’t tell me the truth Faith said she was going through the woods when she was suppose to be going to a hotel room. Dylan asks what Sharon was doing out there in the woods?

Joe tells Jack and Phyllis his mom took him to a shelter and it helped his mother. Jack and Phyllis did not know Joe suffered abuse. Jack tells him he will make a generous donation to the charity and Phyllis and Jack are getting married and they will ask everyone to donate to the charity rather than give wedding gifts. Joe is really happy and so is Avery.

Colin tells Cane he is looking out for him but Jill is not giving him anymore power. Cane realizes Colin played him and Colin tells Cane to find another company but Cane says he is not going anywhere.

Jill confides in Lauren that Cane needs a break from her. Lauren tells Jill Michael’s treatment is almost over and that they are back on the road to normal.

Michael tells Kevin to go but Kevin says, “what is up with you I saw your face when you were talking to Lauren. What are you lying to your wife about this time?” Michael gets up from his chair angry.

Lauren is at the bar and Cane joins her. Lauren asks if Cane wants to talk about what is upsetting him but he turns her down.

Kevin tells Michael he should be doing the happy dance. Michael tells Kevin he will never be the same. He will never be the same man he was before he had cancer. He has tried to talk to Lauren she will not listen. He and Lauren can never go back to what they had.

Jack tells Avery he will see that the money is wired. Phyllis excuses herself she goes up to Joe. He thanks her again for the donation. Joe asks if Phyllis thinks he is using his past to get Avery away from Dylan. Phyllis asks, “are you.” Joe says, “It is natural, Avery and I have a deep bond.”

Sharon tells Dylan she was not in the woods. She had a panic attack, she felt like her heart was going to explode, she kept driving she thought it would calm her down. Dylan again asks where she went because Faith woke up and saw they were in woods

Sharon is upset and sarcastically says, “Ya you got me Dylan I drove to the Abbot Cabin and murdered Austin because he refused to deleted the interview but I did not want to leave the body so I used my superhuman strength to drag the body in the car with my daughter. Isn’t that what you want me to say? You think I am crazy just admit it Dylan?”

Jack says he is glad he came for dinner it feels good to do something for the world. Phyllis tells Jack she was right Joe wants Avery back. Phyllis thinks Avery is a sucker and cannot resist the underdog.

Joe tells Avery he could not do it without her. Joe hugs her and Avery leaves

Noah and Courtney meet with Kevin and tell him they told Sharon that Austin was murdered. Courtney wants to see the surveillance videos she thinks if they see the video and see what Austin saw when he followed Jack they will know more. Kevin offers to help Courtney. Noah is not pleased.

Sharon tells Dylan to GET out. She tells him she did not kill Austin, she is not a monster and would not do this with her daughter in the car. Dylan admits to Sharon that he knows what Sharon told Austin about Nick. Sharon gets it now Dylan thinks the interview was a motive for murder.

Colin tells Jill he asked Cane to step aside and Jill should prepare for battle, Cane fights for what he wants .

Lauren and Cane are drinking at the bar and Michael walks in and sees them he turns around and leaves and texts Lauren saying he is not coming he has to work. Cane asks her to dinner. Lauren agrees… Michael is watching from the doorway.

Jack asks Phyllis if she is okay he offered their wedding presents for charity. She agrees it is okay.

Courtney tells Noah what she wants to do is not risking their future, it is protecting their future and she loves him and plans on spending many years with him. Noah asks her to wait till after the wedding.

Kevin tells Courtney what she has to do to pull it off. Courtney is going to try and get the surveillance footage off the police computers.

Avery gets home and tells Dylan that she is happy to see him. Avery admits she had dinner with Joe talking about the charity. Dylan admits he got tied up too. Avery goes to bed.

Sharon is having a FLASHBACK: She is seeing herself driving in the storm and having trouble seeing! Sharon looks concerned!
