‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 16, Billy and Victoria Kissing Leads to Gabe and Chelsea Making Love, Michael Rejects Lauren and Moves In With Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for April 16, 2015 reveal how nostalgic romance leads to surprising liaisons and betrayal. Michael kills two birds with one stone; Billy’s forbidden kisses lead to shocking consequences: Stitch and Abby are on the fast track to the bedroom while the killer is still on the loose.

Today’s episode of Y&R opens with Sharon [Sharon Case] being taken in for her arraignment in handcuffs. Dylan [Steve Burton] is there and wants to know if she is ready for the arraignment. Sharon tells Dylan she fired her public defender that was incompetent and asks Dylan to find her another lawyer.

Meanwhile Avery [Jessica Collins] is sleeping in a chair next to Joe [Scott Elrod] and he reaches out and takes her hand. He tells her to go home and rest. Joe tells Avery he still has no feelings in his legs.

Lauren [Tracey E. Bregman] tells Michael [Christian Le Blanc] they should get away from all of it and celebrate the end of his radiation treatments. Michael says his hormone therapy is not finished so he won’t be much fun. Lauren tells him she can spend 3 days alone with him not in bed. Michael does not look interested in going with her.

Michael tells Lauren it is not the right time to get away – he feels she has ignored her job for him. Cane [Daniel Goddard] walks in and says, “this is when I remind you why I work for you.”

Meanwhile Gabe/Adam [Justin Hartley] and Billy [Burgess Jenkins] are still fighting. Stitch [Sean Carrigan] runs in and breaks them up. He tells them to, “Get the hell off each other.”

Stitch is trying to keep them apart but they are both trying to get to each other. Billy kicks over Kelly’s [Cady McClain] Urn with her ashes which was on the floor and Stitch goes after him and says, “You and your brother did not kick my sister enough when she was alive now you have to do it when she is dead.” Billy with a bleeding lip tries to apologize but Stitch walks away and Abby [Melissa Ordway] follows. Victoria [Amelia Heinle] defends Billy she tells Stitch Billy did not know.

Billy apologizes but Stitch does not want to hear it. Abby asks why they are fighting and Billy says, “Bingham may be new in town but he knows being compared to Adam Newman is never a good thing.” Abby says, “that is what you said, you compared him to someone who was universally loathed. Can’t we just calm down we have to work together.” Gabe/Adam starts throwing accusations and Victoria tells him he does not know anyone well enough to do that. Billy says, “He does, he spends more time with Chelsea stalking her.” Gabe/Adam says, “Well it lets you spend more time with your ex-wife who does not seem to mind.” Gabe/Adam leaves and Billy says, “Ask me again why I HATE that man.”

Abby tells Billy he is a mess and Gabe/Adam is a tool. Abby does tells Billy she thinks he might be chasing Victoria like Gabe/Adam said. Billy denies it but Abby asks him what he thinks deep down in his secret soul. Abby tells Billy she can get help him get Victoria back and Billy asks her if it is because Abby wants Stitch

Stitch tells Victoria maybe Gabe/Adam is right and Victoria has been lonely and Billy has been there and she turned to him.

Cane offers to take over for Lauren at Fenmores so she can go away with Michael. Finally Michael agrees to go on the vacation.

Joe tells the doctor he cannot feel his legs. The doctor tells him once they get the results of the tests they will go from there. Avery tells Joe he has to wait. Joe tells Avery he is NOT paralyzed and he will walk again. Avery tries to console Joe telling him he needs time. Joe is not listening and Avery screams, “Joe look at me you need to stay in this bed.” Dylan comes to the doorway.

Chelsea comes out of the house and sees Gabe/Adam bleeding. She asks him what happened and he says, “Billy he was defending the honor of his ex-wife!”

Chelsea asks Gabe/Adam why he always tries to make her worried about Billy and Victoria. Gabe/Adam gleefully tells Chelsea Billy and Victoria were holding hands and he was not there when Chelsea needed him. Chelsea thinks Gabe/Adam is annoying he always causes drama. Chelsea asks Gabe/Billy if he is a jerk or not and Gabe/Adam replies, “Jerk 100% that is not debatable. But I care about you and Connor and when you need someone I was there. Billy does not know how lucky he is. I am a jerk but there is nowhere I would rather be than with you.”

Abby is not pleased Billy said she was after Stitch – Abby claims she has learned her lesson after Austin she is just friends with Stitch.

Stitch tells Victoria this is not about him not being home. He wants to know if Victoria really believes Sharon killed Courtney and Austin. Dylan thinks the killer is still out there and Abby could still be a target. Stitch suspects that Victoria asked him to take care of Abby because she wants distance from Stitch.

Abby tells everyone she is going to go get a front row seat at Sharon’s arraignment. Stitch wants to go, he wants to hear what Sharon’s lawyer has to say.

At Sharon’s arraignment – she looks scared and worried.

Dylan comes in and Joe tells Dylan he just asked Avery to go get some rest. Dylan asks Avery to come and speak to him in the hallway. Once they get there Dylan asks Avery to take Sharon’s case. Avery makes an excuse and says she is not prepared and it is not a good time. Dylan asks if it is because of Joe. Avery agrees it is because of Joe because Joe may not walk again. Dylan is not impressed and says Sharon may lose her freedom and her kid. Avery replies, “and I may lose my license for covering up that tire iron. The best thing I can do is stay away from the case!” Dylan says, “and stay by Joe’s bedside, you are an attorney and not a nurse.”

Beeping starts and Avery runs to Joe’s room, he is on the floor, he tried to get up and Avery screams, “Joe!”

Gabe/Adam tells Chelsea he told her he cares for her. Chelsea tells Gabe/Adam whatever he saw between Victoria and Billy it was nothing. Gabe/Adam asks Chelsea what she is going to do when Connor starts looking like Adam – Billy hates Adam and everything about him. Gabe/Adam then admits he pulled the first punch on Billy but Billy is okay he is probably at the club holding Victoria’s hand. Chelsea stomps out.

At the club Victoria is putting ice on Billy’s lip. Victoria is upset about Stitch. Billy tells her he is there for her. Victoria says he always knows how to say the right thing to her.

The doctor is in Joe’s room and he tells Joe not to get up again. Avery tells him he needs to give his body time to heal. Joe tells Avery to go home – he is afraid and he is crying – he tells Avery he is not that strong. Avery tells him he can hang on and if he cannot she will hang on for him.

Dylan tells Michael Baldwin who showed up at the hospital he cannot listen to Joe Clark again. Dylan fells it is Joe’s fault he is in the bed, he put the moves on Avery. Dylan tells Michael he is worried about Sharon it is bad she does not have an attorney. Dylan ask Michael if he will take Sharon on?

Sharon tells the judge her attorney should be there any minute. The judge calls a break and Abby comes in and asks Sharon, “are you waiting to hit me on the head again?” Sharon tells Abby and Stitch she is being framed. Abby makes a bunch of nasty comments and goes into the courtroom. Stitch asks Sharon how she is holding up.

They court is back in session; the judge asks Sharon where her attorney is? Sharon tells the judge that she does not know where her attorney is. The judge asks Sharon how she pleads and she says, “NOT GUILTY!” The prosecutor says, “Considering the seriousness of the crime we ask bail be denied and she be remanded in custody.”

Joe tells Avery Dylan is not happy she is there. Avery tells Joe they were not fighting over him they were fighting over the fact she won’t defend Sharon.

The prosecution tells the judge Sharon is a flight risk and she should be remanded without bail. Michael Baldwin walks in and says he wants to speak on behalf of his client Sharon Newman.

Cane tells Lauren they have to run a system check because of the business that has been hacked. Cane asks Lauren what is on her mind she seems distracted. Lauren admits Michael. She is upset because she thinks Michael does not want to spend time with her.

Chelsea walks into the Athletic Club and Billy and Victoria are on the couch making out.

Gabe/Adam is drinking and looking at his divorce papers.

Chelsea stares at Billy and Victoria kissing and walks out.

Lauren tells Cane she did not want to dump on him but Cane says he is an expert at Cancer woes. Lauren is convinced Michael can beat cancer. Cane tells Lauren to be patient and not pull back because Michael is pulling back

Michael apologizes to the judge for his tardiness. The prosecutor says, “your client is a flight risk and combined with her instability the best place for your client is a jail cell.” Dylan jumps up and says, “Mental Instability means put her in a jail cell?” Michael says, “Thank you for that passionate outburst now sit down and let me do my job!”

Michael tells the judge, “My client is treating her bi-polar problem. Charging someone is not being guilty and the evidence is circumstantial.” Michael asks the judge to consider house arrest with a guardian. The judge tells Michael the state is not providing a guardian so Michael better have someone who is willing to supervise Sharon and not let her run. Michael says he knows just the person who should be with Sharon during her house arrest, “ME!”

Avery tells Joe she has exactly what he needs. She has a game to distract him, hangman, strictly PG. Joe agrees to play.

Sharon tells Michael she does not know how to thank him but she does not understand how Michael is sacrificing his freedom to be with her. Michael says he did it because he is her attorney.

Stitch tells Dylan that was a last minute save. Stitch asks Dylan if he is sure Sharon is innocent and Dylan says YES, the killer is setting her up.

Michael calls Lauren to tell her he is moving in with Sharon. Lauren did not know Michael was defending Sharon and she does not know how moving into Sharon’s house is going to happen after all he is still under treatment. Michael apologizes about having to delay their trip he tells her he has to go.

Lauren tells Cane Michael not only found a way out of their vacation he found a way out of their home.

Abby is pissed that Sharon is walking out of court and not going to jail. Abby tells Stitch at least she can move on and Stitch can too. Stitch tells Abby it is not safe, Dylan thinks the killer is still out there. Abby says she guesses they are stuck with each other.

Billy apologizes to Victoria and tells her it should not have happened, between their nostalgia and chemistry that is why it happened. Billy says something good with her felt really good and Victoria agrees it did. Billy promises it will not happen again, it is not fair and Victoria tells him not to worry she is not upset. Billy says it is also not fair to Chelsea.

Chelsea comes into the house and says to Gabe/Adam, “KISS ME!” He looks and she says, KISS ME! Gabe/Adam walks over and he kisses her. Gabe/Adam stops and she says, “I thought this is what you wanted?” Gabe/Adam says, “I DO” Chelsea says, “Then Kiss me again!”

Chelsea and Gabe/Adam start to make out and take each other’s clothes off….. They make love.

So SOSers another great episode of our favourite soap!  Billy and Victoria finally kissed it looks like they are on the way to getting back to each other.  Meanwhile, Chelsea saw the deed and she asks Gabe/Adam to kiss her and one thing led to another and they were in bed.  Are you happy Chelsea and Gabe/Adam are back together?  How long will it be before Chelsea realizes she has slept with Adam?
