“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Ian Ward [Ray Wise] could be headed back to Genoa City to cause more headaches for Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] in January. Ian Ward is never done with his revenge plans for Victor and the rest of the Newman clan.
Ian Ward has made it pretty clear that he isn’t done with his revenge plans for Victor and Adam [Justin Hartley]. Ian’s objective is to get the attention of his main squeeze–Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott]. There’s only one catch; Nikki cannot stand Ian, and the sight of him sends her over the edge and makes her run to the nearest bar asking for a double vodka.

The last Ian was seen on the show; he was hauled off to jail after tangling with Phyllis Abbott [Gina Tognoni] and Victor after being presumed dead in the Newman gala fire. Paul Williams [Doug Davidson] arrested Ian and claimed he would be taken to a maximum-security prison.
It was set up in a manner that “Y&R” fans assumed Ian would turn up again. In fact, the last time he was in prison, he was supposed to be in a maximum-security prison, and could come and go as he pleased, which led to the launch of the Paragon virus.

Ian Ward and Victor Newman’s vendetta will never be over. They both have this need to outdo the other, creating an animosity that outshines Jack Abbott [Peter Bergman] and Victor’s lifelong battle. Will Ian Ward resign himself to serve his life in prison and leave Victor be in his life in Genoa City? Will Ian try to intervene and poison Adam against his father, once again?
No one knows what will happen; however, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers and rumors have hinted that Ian Ward is coming back soon, and fans should brace themselves for more tantalizing trouble aimed at the Newmans.
