‘The Young and The Restless’ RUMOR: New Character Luca Santori Love Interest For YR’s Mariah?

“Young and the Restless” fans asked for it and it looks they may be getting one of the storylines they wanted.   Mariah (Camryn Grimes) hinted on Twitter today that she may have a new love interest on the show. Fans have asked for quite some time why Mariah doesn’t have a love interest. It looks like “Y&R” may have listened and decided to give fans what they wanted.

Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will be arriving in Genoa City in the next few weeks. Not much has been released about the character only that he will be arriving in mid-September. Today, Camryn Grimes wrote on Twitter, “Princess Mariah has a great ring to it.” Could it be a hint that Luca might be a love interest for her?

It was speculated for some time that Mariah and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) would end up as a couple. As time passed, it became evident that Kevin and Mariah were not going to be romantically involved, only close friends.

There’s a long list of people that Mariah thought she was in love at one time or another. First, she tried to lure Nick (Joshua Morrow) from her mother, Sharon (Sharon Case). He was flattered but didn’t feel that way about her, especially since he saw her as Sharon’s daughter and Cassie (Camryn Grimes) identical twin sister. She always felt a connection to Austin (Matthew Atkinson). They both came from a rough upbringing and didn’t fit into the Newman lifestyle. Austin married Summer (Hunter King) and refused to betray his wife by having an affair with Mariah. She has only been on the show for a little over a year. She quickly became a fan favorite with her quick witted zingers usually directed to Summer.

Not much has been released about Miles Gaston Villanueva new role on “Y&R.” He tweeted last week that writers had written exciting material for him, and he was excited to see it play out on the show. “Young and the Restless” fans, would you like to see Mariah in a romantic relationship?
