‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Who Is Your Favorite Newman Lady? VOTE!

“The Young and the Restless” fans have strong opinions, as they should, when it comes to the many women who have passed through the lives of the Newman men. But, who is your favorite Newman lady? Are you Team Nikki, Team Victoria, Team Sharon, Team Chelsea or Team Sage?

Team Nikki

Nikki Reed (Melody Thomas Scott) became a Newman more than 30 years ago when she married Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The self-made millionaire taught the former stripper all about society. Over the years Victor and Nikki have divorced, each remarried other people, divorced the other spouses and remarried time and again. Nikki was even married to Victor’s nemesis Jack Abbot. Nikki has battled alcoholism and tragedy over and over again. But Nikki and Victor are the quintessential super couple – without Nikki there is no Victor and vice versa. Would you choose Nikki as your favorite Newman lady?

Team Victoria

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was born a Newman and through numerous marriages has never quite completely committed to taken a husbands’ name. An art history major, Victoria chosen career path has been at the helm of Newman Enterprises. Despite disputes with daddy Victor, including a lawsuit that garnered Vicki $500,000, she will always be there for Newman Enterprises whenever Victor calls. Whether it’s Brash & Sassy, sitting in the CEO chair, or as a member of the board at Newman Enterprises, Victoria is quite possibly the most strong-willed Newman lady of them all.

Team Sharon

Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) has the unique distinction of having been married to ALL the Newman men! Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), Adam (then Michael Muhney), and former father-in-law Victor.  In addition Sharon has another unique distinction – she was married to Jack Abbott – her former mother-in-law Nikki Newman’s ex-husband! And let us not forget Sharon’s one-night stand with Billy Abbott (then Billy Miller). And now Sharon is engaged to Nikki’s son Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). If Sharon does reunite with one of the Newman brothers which one should it be? Nicholas or Adam (Justin Hartley)? Would you choose Sharon as your favorite Newman lady?

Team Chelsea

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) came to Genoa City already pregnant with Billy Abbott’s son. Though Chelsea was a con artist her heart softened and Chelsea allowed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to adopt Johnny Abbott and raise the boy with Billy. Chelsea became involved with Adam, the couple fell in love and married. But a miscarriage and Adam’s lingering love for ex-wife Sharon came between them. Shadam fans were thrilled when Adam left Chelsea and returned to Sharon – Chadam fans weren’t too thrilled though. Chelsea discovered she was pregnant while separated from Adam. But rather than tell Adam about the baby, Chelsea, after a one-night stand, choose to let Dylan believe he was the baby’s father and the couple married as Chelsea was giving birth. Eventually Chelsea and Adam ended up together again, however, Adam “died.” But now Adam is back and ready to repent. Would you choose Chelsea as your favorite Newman lady?

Team Sage

The newest edition to the Newman Wives Club, Sage Warner (Kelly Sullivan) was briefly married to Adam Newman when he was  pretending to be Gabriel Bingham. Technically Sage didn’t become a Newman wife until she married Nicholas. After the devastating premature birth of their son Christian and the baby boy’s “death,” Sage and Nick are hanging onto their marriage by a thread. In addition to all that sadness, there is a question about Christian’s paternity – Adam may be the boy’s father – and Sage may be in love with Adam. She may be the new Newman on the block, but Sage has inserted herself right in the thick of things. Would you choose Sage as your favorite Newman lady?

Of course there are other Newman ladies – Abby (Melissa Ordway), Phyllis Summers Newman Abbott (then Michelle Stafford) who had an affair with Nick after his daughter Cassie (Camryn Grimes) died. Phyllis got pregnant with Summer Newman (Hunter King), another Newman lady by birth. And let’s not forget Victor Newman’s numerous wives in addition to Nikki.

“Y&R” fans which Neman woman would you pick as your favorite? Nikki has been around the longest, Victoria’s birthright is Newman, but Sharon has been married to all the Newman men. However,  Chelsea and Sage have managed, so far, to hold their own when it comes to the Newman guys.
