“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Adam [Justin Hartley] is hard at work to try to win all Genoa City over in order to have the possibility of having his sentence overturned. He definitely wants to get his sentenced, suspended and take up residence in Genoa City- and hope his father will be by his side.
The one question mark in his family is his half-brother, Nick [Joshua Morrow]. Will Nick consider burying the hatchet and call a truce with his controversial brother? Most fans cannot see the duo ever getting along long term because there has been so much bad history between them.
First, Adam is the one who caused him to lose months of being a father to his daughter, Faith. He grieved her loss when all the while she was being cared for by Ashley Abbott as her own daughter. Nick praised ex-wife, Sharon [Sharon Case] for being able to forgive him for the kidnapping, but he would never forget the hurt he caused.
“The Young and the Restless” fans can see the duo partnering up to join forces against Victor [Eric Braeden] at some point, but could not see them being friendly with each other long term. It seems pretty likely they will be at each’s throat when the truth is revealed about Christian’s paternity. Another damper on the Newman brotherly love is Sage’s [Kelly Sullivan] connection to Adam. With Sage shutting Nick out, it is setting the scene for him to learn that she has been open and pouring her heart out to none other than Adam Newman!
The Newman love following towards Adam is not likely to last long; as soon as the judge suspends his sentence [ or overturns it] the Newman’s will be back to hate and despising everything Adam does. Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] will resume her job of being the mediator between the Newman’s and her husband and trying to keep the peace between everyone.
How long do you think the Newman love for Adam will last? Do you think that Nick and Adam will ever bury the hatchet for GOOD?
