It finally happened; Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) are together again. She knows his true identity and has promised to spend the week together to having some good old fashioned family time. Soap Central reported on Aug. 11 that Chelsea will learn all about Adam’s life in the year they were apart, and she is shocked at the lengths he went to be reunited with her.

At first, Chelsea didn’t want any part of Adam and his lies. She felt betrayed by him and realized that he would never be the man she needed him to be. She realized he wouldn’t be able to let go of his need for revenge against his father, Victor- even if it meant that it cost him his happiness. She knew he is well-meaning. He wants to be a good husband and father, but his need for revenge against Victor is stronger.

She agreed to stay in France with Adam for a few days up to a week. They will spend time together as a family. He has one week to convince her that this could be their new life together. He told her they never had to go back to Genoa City even. They could work in France and live the life they had always talked about. She seemed to like the idea but is having a hard time believing that he is ready to let go of the grudge he holds against his father.

They celebrate Connor’s birthday together as a family. Adam gives Connor a soccer jersey. Chelsea thinks back to Connor’s last birthday when a clown delivered a soccer ball for Connor’s birthday. He admits he hired him to deliver the present. He admits he had ways to watch his family while he was away. Chelsea admitted she understood why he felt he had to do that, but she wasn’t sure she was ready to forgive him, yet.

Chelsea can forgive Adam, but I don’t see them living in Paris for “forever” although, I wish they would so people would leave them alone…
