‘The Young And The Restless’ Poll: Possible ‘Y&R’ Super Couples For 2016 – Adam And Sage, Nick And Chelsea? Vote Now!

“The Young and the Restless” has had a turbulent year with a few couples that never made much sense. Some of the current super couple have little to no chemistry and need a definite shake-up to appease the fans. Soap Opera Spy paired up the characters with new [or old] partners to help the dynamic of the show.

Adam and Sage

Many fans love Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] with Adam Newman [Justin Hartley]; however, they never stay together for long. Consider them to be like Nikki [Melody Thomas Scott] and Victor [Eric Braeden]. They break up and get back together often, but end up disliking each other more often than being in love. Adam’s issue is he wants revenge on his father more than he values his quiet and peaceful life. Sage [Kelly Sullivan] and Adam had excellent chemistry, as much as the fans detest it. They will likely be a force together down the road in 2016, especially after Christian discovered.

Chelsea and Nick

Chelsea and Nick [Joshua Morrow] have unbelievable chemistry in their shared scenes. Joshua Morrow, the actor who portrays Nick, disclosed that he hoped TPTB would pair Chelsea and Nick together. He felt like it would make good drama for Adam and Sharon to digest their exes were in a committed relationship with each other. SOS would love to see the backlash of their relationship.

Noah and Lily

Noah [Robert Adamson] has been extremely unlucky at love. Marisa [Sofia Pernas] is not interested, and former fiancée, Courtney [Kelly Goss] was murdered. Lily [Christel Khalil] needs a leading man since her, and Cane [Daniel Goddard] relationship is a bad idea—they just cannot get it together lately. Noah and Lily could be a hot matchup; after all, they are sort of an unlikely duo.

Fen and Summer

Let’s face it, it fans had a choice; they’d get rid of Summer [Hunter King] altogether; however, TPTB loves her so it looks like we are stuck with her. Fen [Max Ehrich] and Summer have a deep history of being childhood best friends, and a super close friendship as they grew into adults. Their relationship just makes sense. Currently, Max Ehrich is under contract with the show—it is time to put him to use in the front burner storylines.

Luca and Mariah

Luca [Miles Gaston Vaillanueva] and Mariah would be the perfect match up. Mariah would not let him get away with so many shenanigans, and he would be a calming force in her life.  Mariah is in need of a strong leading male, as it clearly did not work out with Kevin [Greg Rikaart]. The writers should try this pair out and see if they have on-screen chemistry together!
