‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Is Christine Being Too Hard On Adam Or Just Doing Her Job? VOTE!

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Christine [Lauralee Bell] could be in for quite a shock when Adam’s [Justin Hartley] appeal verdict is read. She feels confident that he will get another guilty verdict, and that he will end up being shuffled to prison for good. The one thing she hasn’t accounted for is that Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] loves his child and will go to the ends of the earth to protect his children and his company.
Christine feels emotionally invested in the case- not just because it was a child who died, but because she feels no one has ever paid for her accident. Not even a year ago, Neil [Kristof St. John] and Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] lost control of their car while Neil was under the influence of alcohol. The result was a very pregnant Christine was struck and lost her baby. The accident almost cost Christine her life, as well.
Sixteen years ago, a jealous and angry Phyllis [then- Michelle Stafford] attempted to murder Christine with her car for trying to come between her and Danny Romalotti. Christine never forgot about the incident and has made several remarks to hint that she still feels like the Newman’s and Abbott’s will do whatever they have to in order to avoid murder charges.
Christine was right about several things. First, she is the district attorney. It is her job to prove he was guilty of hitting Delia [ Sophie Pollono] and hid the fact that he BELIEVED he struck her. She proved that. She was possibly a tad over jealous when she accused him of trying to escape, when he was merely trying to save his family from the fiery blaze.
Christine is not an evil person, and she means well. She is the first person to apologize when she figures out she is in the wrong. It isn’t her fault exactly that she feels the Newman should be accountable for the accident that resulted in Delia’s death. She is being a little hard on Adam yes- but she is merely enforcing the law.

If Christine were doing her job, she would’ve arrested Michael for aiding and abetting the escape of Adam. So you can see this is purely prejudicial.
exactly, she’s also hypercritical! I’ve never been able to stand her! I just want her off my screen. Paul deserves better than her. I’ve always wanted him with Ashley.

Christine is so heartless
I use to love watching Christine. She was a wonderful, loving person, but now I chring when she’s on. She has become a hateful person. Like Chelsea said on one epidsode that she is a cold hearted person. I would love to see her go back to the way she use to be.
