“The Young and the Restless” is currently knee-deep in one of the most ridiculous baby swapping storylines that have ever graced the CBS daytime drama. Sharon Newman [Sharon Case] was given a child, told she birthed him, all the while his real parents are none other than ex-husband, Nick [Joshua Morrow] and Sage [Kelly Sullivan] Newman’s son.
The fact is this lie cannot go on for long; at some point, the secret is bound to be aired for all Genoa City to hear. So, the question on all the fan’s minds is, how long will it take for Sharon to realize that Sully isn’t her biological child? When she finds out, will she come forward with the information immediately, or will she continue to try to hide that information from Nick and Sage out of fear of losing the baby?

Longtime fans of Sharon Newman are sure that when the fan favorite finds out that Sully doesn’t belong to her, she’d return him to Sage. The reason they gave is simple; Sharon lost Faith as a newborn- and was told she died like Christian- and wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone, especially Nick Newman.
The controversy started because Sharon was in the mind frame of ‘doing whatever it took’ to keep Dylan [Steve Burton] happy and giving him a child when she hastily checked herself into Fairview mental hospital. Sharon hasn’t revealed to her fiancée that she lost the initial child through miscarriage yet.

Sharon’s haters and there are many of them, believe she will stay tight-lipped about the child when she learns he isn’t her child. After she’s exposed of knowing for a good part of the time he was with her, she will play dumb and swear she never suspected a thing, throwing Dr. Anderson [Elizabeth Bogush] under the bus.
The real question in all the storyline speculation is, how long will it take for someone to think something may not be right with Sharon and her new child, Sully. Will it happen in February sweeps, or could this storyline last a year or possibly more?

This story has gone on long enough. Sharon isn’t that stupid that she didn’t have a baby. Enough already! I am surprised that Nick an Sage don’t recognize the baby is theirs! This storyline is getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enough with baby Christian. Return him .and get rid of the boring Dr Anderson you are slowly losing viewers

Also again with the same story line Adam and Noah. How stupid find better and more enjoyable story lines not always tragedy
I can’t believe that they are doing this to Dylan again. I was hoping maybe Sharon would get pregnant before she finds out so that at least her & Dylan maybe would be ok & not so devastated, not that one child can make up for another but it could soften the blow for them. Poor Dylan!
