‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Y&R’s Kelly in Talks for New Project – Cady McClain Discusses Casting for Next Season of ‘Queens of Drama’

If you’re missing Cady McClain (ex-Kelly on “The Young and the Restless”), you may be in luck. It looks like McClain is in talks for a new project. Soap Opera Digest recently reported that Pop TV’s “Queens of Drama” is in the process of casting for its second season and it appears McClain could be a contender. McClain discussed what’s been going on behind the scenes in a Facebook post.

McClain wrote, “So I just had a meeting with the folks from @QueensofDrama. I thought they were really cool people, and I enjoyed talking about their show and what I might have to offer.” Before you get too excited, it’s not a done deal. However, McClain seems excited about the possibility of joining the cast.

“No matter what happens, I really hope that the women are successful in making their created show a hit,” McClain noted. “I think that would be so great for them and all of daytime TV.” It sounds like McClain is interested in seeing what might happen for the ladies of “Queens of Drama.” They certainly have their work cut out for them, but many soap fans are excited about the buzz.

McClain is hoping that the QOD women can make all of this come together. “I guess I always root for the underdog and I probably always will,” McClain wrote. The rumors say McClain could end up signing on for next season. Many Y&R viewers would be happy to see McClain on their screens once again.
