‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) News: Melissa Claire Egan Promotes Gina Tognoni’s Shoe Company ‘Sole9’

“The Young And The Restless” star Gina Tongnoni, who you most likely know as Phyllis Summers, has been working hard when she isn’t on the set of the CBS soap opera to promote her company “Sole9.”  Gina isn’t just a soap star – she is actually a shoe designer and a pretty impressive business woman.  And, Gina’s co-star Melissa Claire Egan has been helping her promote the products on Instagram.

Melissa Claire Egan, who plays the part of Y&R’s Chelsea Newman, shared an adorable photo on Instagram of herself posing in a pair of cute blue flats.  Melissa captioned the photo, “Happy to support my girl @ginatognoni and her shoe line, Sole9! Portion of proceeds go to National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. #TakeAStand #NCADV.” 

According to Giga Tognoni’s official website, she created the company “With the loving support of a family in the shoe business for nearly four decades, I began my journey. My father advised me to “… stay true to what is in your minds’ eye and in your HEART.” From those words, SOLE9 was born. In the spirit of his advice, life-giving declarations echo innate beauty into the soles of our designs.”
