‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) News: Eva Longoria And Peter Porte Reunite On NBC’s “Hot And Bothered”

“The Young and the Restless” alumna Eva Longoria is starring in a new NBC series titled “Hot and Bothered.” The series is in production currently and is her first big role in quite a few years. Her “Y&R” son, Ricky (Peter Porte) will guest star on the series- no word on which role he will portray.

“Hot and Bothered” is a behind the scene comedy centered around the set of a Spanish soap opera. Scandals, torrid breakups, cat fights and loud arguments are just a few of the scenes featured on the new show. Eva, of course, looked flawless- and ageless. Her TV son, Peter said, “Eva looked amazing as always. I age every year while she gets younger each year #notfair. “

The show is a dream come true for Eva, as she is the main actor, director, and the producer. She has wanted to have a show that ‘poked fun’ at soap operas since she began her career on daytime TV. She said that it seemed only fitting that her TV son, Peter Porte was able to at the very least appear on the show in a guest appearance.

It will be fun to see the two of them united once again. Eva’s character on “Y&R” was Isabella. She went crazy and tried to kill Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). As a result, Paul (Doug Davidson) was able to get her sent to a mental hospital instead of rotting away in prison. Ricky was killed off the show in 2011- after a showdown with his father, Paul. He blamed his father for his mother’s instability.
