‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Tristan Rogers Not Leaving Y&R, Colin Atkinson Staying In Genoa City

“The Young And The Restless” spoilers tease that Tristan Rogers is NOT leaving the CBS soap opera, and he will continue his role as Colin Atkinson in Genoa City.  This week “General Hospital” spoilers revealed that Rogers was finally returning to the ABC soap opera as the iconic character Robert Scorpio, but details surrounding the surprise casting were few and far between.  Y&R fans were concerned that the GH spoilers meant Colin was exiting the CBS soap opera – but we can now confirm that is not the case.

A rep for Tristan Rogers cleared up the confusion, and revealed that Tristan’s trip to “General Hospital” would be very brief – and it would not affect his status at “The Young And The Restless.”  Rogers’ rep dished to Soap Opera Digest, “Tristan is only visiting Port Charles for a very short time.  Tristan will continue with Y&R as Colin. Tristan and I do not want the fans to be misguided in any way.”  Rogers also took to Twitter to clear up any confusion and stressed that he is only VISITING “General Hospital.”  The soap star tweeted, “I am delighted to be visiting my friends in PC. Stand by for some fun stuff.”
