“The Young and the Restless” star Scott Elrod just scored a HUGE primetime gig on ABC “Grey’s Anatomy.” The soap opera hunk will appear on the ABC hit primetime show, “Grey’s Anatomy,” reported Soap Opera Digest. Elrod did not share when the episode would air, just that he would start taping today.
The handsome soap opera actor took to Instagram to reveal his new primetime gig. The “Y&R” star posted a picture of the set of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Scott captioned the image, “Great to be back on #ABC prime time, and beyond thrilled that I am wearing a white coat. #greysanatomy #abcgreys #dr #blessed.” Then, Elrod posted another photo of his Grey’s doctor coat which included a badge and revealed that his character’s name is Will Thorpe.

So far, the show has not released any information on his character, only that he would portray a doctor. At the present moment, it is not known if the handsome actor is in one episode, or if he scored a multi-episode appearance. As the date of his appearance draws closer, more details should be released about his character and storyline on the show.
Scott Elrod portrays Joe Clark on “The Young and the Restless.” Currently, he is in the middle of a HUGE storyline revolving around his infatuation for Cane Ashby’s [Daniel Goddard] wife, Lily Winters [Christel Khalil]. Joe wanted to be with Lily so badly, he developed an elaborate scheme to frame Cane for extortion. It almost worked too, as Cane’s family and wife doubted his innocence. If it wasn’t for Cane’s con artist father, Collin [Tristan Rogers], Cane may have never figured out that Joe was framing him.
