‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Lachlan Buchanan Teases Kyle Abbott Will Be Back On ‘Y&R’ Soon

‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers tease that Lachlan Buchanan will be returning to the CBS soap opera as Kyle Abbott.  The role of Kyle Abbott has become notorious over the years as “falling short” – despite who the producers cast as the character, either the chemistry is lacking or the storylines are lacking.  Lachlan Buchanan debuted as the newest Kyle Abbott in January 2015 – and by November news broke that he had been dropped from his contract and bumped down to recurring status.

‘The Young And The Restless’ fans have not saw Kyle Abbott in Genoa City in over a month.  Although, Lachlan Buchanan didn’t get any huge exit storyline or big send-off, he basically just got phased out of all major storylines and put on the backburner.  On Monday November 30th, one of Lachlan’s followers tweeted him and asked, “What ever happened to you on ‘Y&R’?”  Lachlan didn’t give away a whole lot of information but he did confirm that we will see him back on the CBS soap very soon.  Buchanan replied, “I’m coming back soon!!!”

‘The Young And The Restless’ only films a few weeks in advance, so if Lachlan already has filmed scenes – that means they will be airing within the next month.  But, it is unclear what exactly those scenes entail.  The holidays are right around the corner, so the writers might have just brought Kyle back as arm candy for Hunter Haley King’s character Summer Newman at a holiday party or family event, or perhaps the writers scared up a new storyline for him?
