‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Gina Tognoni Attends Women’s Living Expo to Talk About Y&R Phyllis Role and Shoe Line, Sole9

The latest “Young and the Restless” news reveals that Gina Tognoni, who plays Phyllis on Y&R, made a stop at the Women’s Living Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. According to WLKY-TV, Tognoni was on hand to chat with fans about her character on “The Young and the Restless” as well as her shoe line, Sole9. The expo provided an opportunity for women to pick up a great pair of shoes and give other women a leg up. Sole9 helps victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse by donating a portion of their proceeds. A percentage of the profits from this recent expo will go to Louisville’s Center for Women and Families.

“This weekend we’re giving to the local chapter here in Kentucky. So come on out, buy a pair of shoes and we’ll be able to help the women here locally,” Tognoni said. The event also included 200 booths as well as free screenings to make sure women were in the know about their health. Expo attendees even had the chance to have their hair and makeup done by a professional. It sounds like the “Young and the Restless” star treatment!

The event’s organizer, Barbara Donnell, noted the importance of the expo for women in the community. “It’s really a fun weekend for women, but it’s also informative. So what we try and do is bring a diverse group of women together for one weekend and give them the info and products that will help them live their best life,” Donnell said. Tognoni was considered a welcome addition to the event. Matt Kane from CBS said, “Everyone here loved Gina!
