‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Eric Braeden Tweets Photo Taping Christmas Episodes with Y&R Cast Members

“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) took to Twitter to share a photo of himself with Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman), Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy), Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman), and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman). The soap opera appears to be filming its holiday episodes – Christmas and New Year’s combined perhaps.

“A day at work with some of my colleagues!” Braden tweeted to fans. “The Young and the Restless” stars are dressed to the nines which gives fans an indication that the cast members are filming the “Y&R” holiday episodes that will air in December.

Eric and Steve are dressed in black tuxedos. Melissa Claire Egan is wearing a gorgeous light green dress and it looks as if the actress has a new hairstyle – a sleek bob cut. Amelia Heinle looks beautiful in black lace, and Alyvia Alyn Lind is wearing a dress with a black top and gold tulle skirt. The stars smiled for the cameras and Amelia looks especially content – she is resting her head on Eric Braeden’s shoulder.

Will the Abbotts’ and the Newmans’ put aside their difference during the holiday season? The extended Newman family certainly looks happy. Will they be joined by Adam Newman (Justin Hartley), Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan)? Or will Adam remain incarcerated during the holidays? Will Nick and Sage have gone their separate ways? Or will the couple still be together, but their grief over the death of their son Christian will keep them from deriving any joy from the holiday season?
