‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Elizabeth Hendrickson Reunites with Y&R Cast for Daytime Emmy Ceremony – Details of Her Nomination HERE!

The latest “Young and the Restless” news reveals that Elizabeth Hendrickson will join the rest of the Y&R cast at the upcoming 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony. It should be a welcome reunion for Hendrickson, who exited the role of Chloe in May. Since Hendrickson was gone for most of last year, it seems she was hesitant to even submit herself for nomination. In an interview with Soaps in Depth, Hendrickson noted that she was “so close to not submitting” because she was unsure of how it would be received. Ultimately, Hendrickson figured she might as well go for it. Hendrickson said, “I felt last year was my best year so why not give it one more shot?” Now that she’s secured her nomination, Hendrickson will have to take her chances against the other top-notch talent in the Daytime Emmy Supporting Actress category.

Last year, Elizabeth Hendrickson chose to submit “The Young and the Restless” scenes that showed the reaction to her daughter’s sudden death. However, this year she chose to take a different route. Hendrickson noted that she’d “already been there, done that” with all of the “Delia (Sophie Pollono) stuff.” Instead, Hendrickson chose to submit the heartfelt moments of her farewell episode. She was particularly proud of one scene with Greg Rikaart, who plays Kevin. “I still get chills thinking about it,” Hendrickson said.

Overall, it looks like Hendrickson put her heart into performance and she’s hoping for the best. Hendrickson said that using her last episode of “The Young and the Restless” was “really fitting.” You can see Elizabeth Hendrickson and the rest of the nominees on the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will air on April 26 at 8/7c on Pop.
