The Bold and the Beautiful Star Linsey Godfrey Hit By Car

In shocking news The Bold and Beautiful star Linsey Godfrey who plays Caroline on The Bold and the Beautiful was walking down the sidewalk in Los Angeles today, February 2, and was hit by a car. Linsey was an innocent bystander when the car veered onto the sidewalk after getting into an accident with another car.

According to TMZ, “Cops tell us Godfrey was struck around 2:30 PM and got pinned underneath the car. When emergency responders arrived, a citizen had already moved her from the wreckage … and she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.”

Lindsey suffered two broken legs as a result of the accident and is currently having surgery. Linsey’s character Caroline is currently involved in a major storyline and this could mean TPTB will have to make a change in plans – even if they write the accident into the storyline. Another possibility is they might have to find a temporary replacement. We wish Linsey Godfrey all the best in her recovery from this serious accident. Update: Highlight Hollywood is reporting that in fact Linsey Godfrey does not have two broken legs her manager told HH, “Linsey’s currently out of surgery, her injuries are to her ankles.  Fortunately she does not have two broken legs as reports say.  Her doctor say that she is expected to make a full recovery.”
