‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Bradley Bell Says Rick and Maya’s Love Story Is ‘Only Just Beginning’ – Karla Mosley to Remain B&B Leading Lady

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers reveal that Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley) will be front and center on B&B in the near future. Rick recently gave up his job as CEO of Forrester Creations so he could have a fresh start with Maya. We’ve been seeing a whole new side of their characters over the past few weeks and they’ll continue to grow. Bradley Bell, the executive producer and head writer of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” dished the details of Rick and Maya’s future in an interview with TV Insider.
Bell noted that “Karla Mosley has emerged as the leading lady of B&B, and she’ll remain so.” Many fans have been confused about Maya’s sudden character development and Bell was quick to address those issues. “She has been accepted and loved for the way she is and it has warmed her heart,” Bell said. “She’s now coming from a place of gratitude.” However, Bell suggested that Maya “may go back to her old ways” if her circumstances change drastically.
For the time being, it sounds like Rick and Maya are poised to become B&B’s next super couple. The rumors have been hinting that Rick and Maya’s romance would flourish for quite some time. Bell confirmed that viewers can expect “continued commitment to Maya’s story and the transgender community.” It appears “The Bold and the Beautiful” will strive to explore new territory as it goes down its latest path. Bell wants to delve deep into Rick and Maya’s “unique love story” and it’s “only just beginning.”

Of course, soaps are nothing without a little drama. We should see Rick and Maya face a few obstacles eventually. Bell said, “Right now we’re concentrating on developing a strong foundation for Rick and Maya, one that is to be respected and admired. But trouble will come. I for one was wondering was the Transgender story finished or on vacation since you came on so strong with this triangle thing again but this time with Steffy, Liam and Wyatt along with Wyatt’s baggage, his mother. Also how dumb is Ivy taking advice from the woman who pushed her off the bridge. Well still glad that Maya and Rick will be together. Here is a novel idea let them stay together.
I would like Rick and Maya would just chill out in Paris for 4-6 months THEN bring them back.Develop some depth in the actors you have. Personally I am so sick of seeig 5 different luke-warm and mostly very unbelievable plots,played by luke-warm actors!
I don’t mind Rick and Maya coming back and exploring the relationship between the two, BUT i think it is a slap in the face to assume that she will be the B&B new leading lady! This is not fair to any of the female characters that have been on the show for so long. Develop Bill, Katie, Quinn, Deacon…and continue to envolve Brooke…..just do not make her the wimp of the show. Develop Ridge and Caroline and their relationship….take the story back to the days that Forester was the premiere fashion house. So many characters to use to make great storylines, just do not want to see Rick and Maya as the patriarch and matriarch of the show. Give Eric back HIS house, let the two of them start their own life with somewhere else. I have watched the show from the beginning, bring it back to what it was in the beginning.
How did Maya ever become the leading lady of B&B?? Over the transgender storyline? What is wrong with you people? And now its Steffy/Liam/ and whomever triangle .,yet again!!! Maybe B&B should concentrate on finding some new writers.
well im tired of rick n maya.not my idea of them as a couple too much being bossy its degrading the other workers. I don’t like that.
