‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Aly Caught Between Rick, Maya and a Hard Place – How to Choose Sides?

On The Bold and the Beautiful, with Eric Forrester (John McCook) back, everyone at Forrester Creations is plotting to cement their power positions at the company and that includes Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Maya Avant (Kara Mosley). The duo will try and get Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce) on their side by pulling her into their schemes to get ahead. They’ll dangle a future for her at Forrester Creations to try and get her into an alliance with them.

It makes sense that Rick is shoring up his power base since Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is looking to team up with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to run Rick right out of Forrester Creations. Ridge has been doing this on the down low so he doesn’t aggravate Eric but, it looks like this week, Ridge’s plans will come to the forefront and he’ll have to make some big moves to get what he wants. The question is whether Eric will Ridge have his way. There are also some expected hiccups coming in Liam’s plan to get rid of Rick and I wonder if Aly will be part of that problem.

As you know, it’s long been Aly’s dream to develop her own shoe line for Forrester Creations. Rick has told Aly that he’s green lighting her shoe line. Aly wants to connect with Rick and help him but his tactics have her concerned. Rick will push her and use leverage to try and get his way. In the coming days, Aly will start to feel pressure from Rick’s increasingly questionable behavior but she doesn’t want to lose the chance at her shoe line so Aly will let Rick push – up to a certain point.

Look to see Aly take what Rick is dishing out and to keep silent and play her part for a while. But once Aly realizes Rick is stringing her along and making promises about the shoe line that may not come to fruition, she may snap. If she and Rick have a major blow out, the real question is will her alliance shift? With power up for grabs at Forrester Creations, everyone will be looking to take advantage of swing votes and control shifts. Someone else could always offer Aly the shoe line deal, it doesn’t just have to be Rick.

It will be interesting to watch the machinations at Forrester Creations that will be coming to a head within the next few weeks. Suffice it to say, things have never been more exciting on the Bold and the Beautiful.
