“The Bold and the Beautiful” star John McCook, who you most likely know as Eric Forrester, must be having a proud father moment, his daughter Molly McCook who is following in his footsteps just landed a gig in the “Unauthorized OC Musical,” which is being put on by LA stage production. If you were a fan of the teen sudster, then you most likely remember Mischa Barton’s character Marissa Cooper, and her never-ending drama.
Molly McCook has landed the role of Marissa Cooper in the highly anticipated musical, and a slew of famous faces will be joining her on stage. According to a report from Soap Opera Digest the “Unauthorized OC Musical,” will also feature Brendan Robinson (“Pretty Little Liars”), Greer Grammer (“Awkward”), Tilky Jones (“Nashville”), and Autumn Reeser, who appeared on the original CW drama “The O.C.” when it aired from 2003-2007.
Molly McCook is a soap opera alum herself. “The Bold and the Beautiful” patriarch John McCook actually hooked his daughter Molly up with a role on the CBS soap opera back in 2010. Longtime fans will most likely remember her as Hope Logan’s (Kim Matula) BFF Margot, and she appeared in a handful of episodes.
According to the official Facebook page of “The Unauthorized OC Musical” the show will be taking place on August 30 at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood. And, we wish we could be there! Seriously, who doesn’t love “The OC?” And, the fact that B&B star Molly McCook landed a lead in the production is just a plus!
