‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) Interview: Pierson Fode Discusses Relationship Between Ridge And Thomas – Plus Caroline’s Baby

“The Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) holds his father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) responsible for all the problems that have caused the breakdown of the father-son relationship. Is history repeating itself as Thomas makes the same mistakes that Ridge made?

Ridge Forrester has never treated women well – they’ve always been pawns to be played against each other. The love triangle of Taylor Hayes, Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan played out for two decades. The elder Mr. Forrester has slept his way through numerous Forrester Creations models and interns. And in an eerily similar situation – Ridge slept with Brooke when she was under the influence of some kind of medication and the next day Brooke didn’t remember it at all. Like father, like son?

In the recent edition of Soaps In Depth Pierson Fode defends his characters actions. Fode admits that the encounter between Caroline and Thomas can be “misconstrued pretty quickly as creepy and weird,” but as Pierson points out it’s a case of the apple not falling far from the tree. Thomas is confused because he doesn’t realize his father’s anger runs deeper than his son bedding an intern or a few models. Thomas Forrester thinks his father refusal to forgive him for sleeping with Caroline “is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.” And because Ridge will not reveal to anyone that Thomas is probably the father of Caroline’s baby this leaves Thomas even further in the dark and more confused.

In all likelihood the baby Caroline is carrying is Thomas’s – and either the new Mrs. Forrester is going to spill the beans or one of these days Thomas is going to push one too many of his father’s buttons and Ridge will explode. And when Thomas finds out what will he do next?
