‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Interview: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Ashleigh Brewer, And Linsey Godfrey Discuss Their Relationships – Working Together On ‘B&B’

“The Bold and the Beautiful” superstars, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Linsey Godfrey, and Ashleigh Brewer sat down with Soap Opera Digest to talk about their relationship with each other, enjoying torturing Thorsten Kaye, and motherhood. One thing is clear from the interview; the ladies have an obvious respect and love for each other- so much different than the characters they portray on the CBS hit daytime drama.

Soap Opera Digest asked the ladies when they cast them on the show, if they thought, they would hit it off and be as close as they are now. Jacqueline stated, “We all hit it off pretty much immediately. We all have the same sense of humor which is goofy.” Linsey said it is nice that no matter what you are going through, they’re two other people that have your back no matter if it is 3 a.m. or 4 p.m.  Jacqueline continues, “We are not just colleagues. We are best friends. We talk about things we are going through- our hopes and dreams. We support each other 100%.”

The friendly trio admitted that playing rivals on air has been fun. Jaqueline noted, “Ashleigh is so cute with her accent. My accent comes and goes- hers is never-ending. And the way she says tire iron makes it sound like a great word. I say it, and I sound like a moron.” Ashleigh added, “I don’t think I will ever have a storyline with Linsey. We only interact in a business plot point on the screen. We have asked to work together, but I don’t think TPTB will ever allow us to be in a storyline like Ivy and Steffy was recent.”

They admitted they got their kicks off of torturing Thorsten Kaye [Ridge] on the set. Linsey said, “Poor Thorsten. Our favorite thing to do is sit around him where he’s in the middle of us and we just girls talk the crap out of him. At some point, he can’t take it anymore, and he starts getting more and more uncomfortable until he gets up to go far away from us. “

The group of three became a group of four when Linsey had her daughter, Aleda. She turned one-year-old in June. Jacqueline said, “I love to tell A how lucky she is to have Linsey as a mom. She is an incredible role model. She is a grace under pressure. She has a big heart, and her daughter is her whole entire world. When it comes to life experiences, she has her share and that will benefit Aleda when she is a teen.”

Soap Opera Digest ended the interview with asking each one to tell one thing that no one knows about them. Linsey says, “Jacq is always in a robe, eating apple pie; I am pretty sure she’s eaten more apple pie than any human, ever.” Ashleigh continued, “Linsey is by far one of the bravest people I know, and it’s time all women take a page out of Linsey’s book.” Jacqueline finished by saying, “Ash has an incredible ability to change her style frequently. She can be sexy one minute and turn up the Hollywood glamour the next. Linsey is right about us all being there for each other. I would definitely drive to Linsey’s house in a robe for some apple pie.”
