‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings and Goings: B&B Casting Australian Woman Aged 50-60 – Ivy’s Mom?

“The Bold and the Beautiful” casting news confirmed that the CBS soap opera is looking to casting a mature, Australian woman for a reoccurring role, according to Soap Opera Digest. The casting call clearly stated that the woman MUST be Australian. It led to the speculation that the casting call must be Ivy Forrester’s [Ashleigh Brewer] mother.

The casting call is for a character named “Claire’ who should be 50-60 years old, Australian, and would start filming in the next two weeks. A few weeks ago, Brewer told Soap in Depth that Ivy’s mother had a deep fear of flying on an airplane so if she were ever to come to L.A. she’d have to find another way to make the journey.

Is it possible that “Claire’ could be Ivy’s mom? She could use some familial support after losing Aly [Ashlyn Pearce] a couple of months ago. Not only that, it seems like she and Wyatt [Darin Brooks] are either moving to get engaged or break up. They are at a crossroad, and it all hinges on if she cheats with her cousin, Thomas [Pierson Fode].

Fans are pretty confident that the casting call will be for Ivy’s mother. She will likely bring drama from the land down under and become a thorn in Ivy’s side.
