‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) POLL: Whose Baby Is Caroline Carrying – Ridge’s or Thomas’ Child?

Secrets have a way of coming out; on “Bold and the Beautiful” that is exactly what is about to happen. Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) both are keeping huge secrets from each other- but today, Caroline’s secret just exploded tenfold. On September 24, Caroline learned she was expecting a baby, but who’s the daddy?

Oh Caroline, you are in a heap of trouble? First, you have sex with Ridge’s son, Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fodé) but claim you didn’t know it was him. Your lame excuse was you took medication that caused you to be out of it during the act. After Ridge apologized for breaking your heart, and proposed marriage, you decided to make sure Thomas never let his father know about the encounter. You both swear you will never tell a soul, and told him your heart belonged to Ridge.

It’s been a month, and you are feeling frustrated. Ridge picked up on your anxiety about being pregnant. Caroline told Ridge today that she will get pregnant when the time is right. She leaves to go see her doctor to find out what steps to take to get pregnant sooner. As they embrace, Ridge thinks about Brooke’s words of advice- and considers telling her his secret. See, they both have a secret they are keeping; Ridge’s secret is he had a vasectomy a while back and is completely sterile.

Caroline learns at the doctor’s office that by some miracle she is pregnant. She wasn’t expecting to find out she was expecting so soon. Immediately, she worried that the child she was expecting COULD be Thomas’ and not Ridge’s. If Ridge doesn’t tell her soon, she will tell him that she is pregnant only to be told that the child cannot not his due to his vasectomy. The fan speculation is that Ridge will end the strained relationship because he’ll believe that she is carrying his grandchild. Later it will come out that the baby was Ridge’s all along.
