‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) POLL: Did Thomas Rape Caroline – How Will Ridge React? (VOTE)

It looks like there could be trouble for Thomas (Pierson Fode) on “Bold and the Beautiful.” Thomas’ feelings got the best of him, and he somehow misread Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) signals on that night in the hotel room. He thought he understood her, but now he is doubting that and worried that his father will sever ties with him forever. Fans are up in arms about the encounter; many feel that Thomas used the situation to his advantage, and that equates to rape. Is it possible that Thomas raped Caroline or was it just one HUGE, terrible mistake?

That night, they both were drinking with one exception- Caroline also took some pills which made her fall into a deep sleep. She was not aware when Thomas climbed on top of her and made love to her. He thought it was consensual sex, but later it became clear it was far from that. Thomas isn’t a bad guy, exactly. He wants the girl of his dreams and his father’s approval. It stinks that he cannot have both- and it is looking like he may not even get one of those things.

Since the incident, Caroline and Ridge have managed to work alongside each other even though it was painfully awkward. They agreed to put their feelings aside for the good of the company. So far, it has worked out well, until Caroline learned she was pregnant. Her pregnancy was a shock, and she believes at this point that her child has to be Thomas’ child. She knows that the bombshell that she could be pregnant by Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) son could end her marriage and threaten to destroy his relationship with his father. The reality of the ordeal has her stressed beyond belief.

Thomas is desperate for Ridge to love him, and accept him. It seemed like they were finally getting somewhere when Thomas and Caroline slept together. Caroline had dreams of starting a family with Ridge, so for her this is a dream come true. How will Ridge react when he learns of the encounter?
