The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Presenters List Released: Guest Celebrities And Former Daytime Soap Stars Presenting

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is scheduled to air live on POP Network on Sunday April 26th, and soap opera fans are counting down the days to see which actors and actresses from “The Young and the Restless,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Bold and the Beautiful,” and “General Hospital” take home trophies. News about the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards keep rolling in – and now we can report that the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences have tapped some exciting celebrities to present some of this year’s awards.

Sadly this year the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will not include a red-carpet pre show, however that doesn’t mean we won’t get to see some iconic TV stars throughout the ceremony – because they will be presenting the awards on stage! According to news for the Daytime Emmy Awards, the following celebrities will be presenting at the show: Alex Trebek, Regis Philbin, Steve Harvey, Marie Osmond, Nancy O’Dell, and Craig Ferguson.

A handful of some of our favorite soap opera actors have also been selected to present at the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards. The following “The Young and the Restless” stars will be passing out Emmy Awards: Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm), Daniel Goddard (Cane), Justin Hartley (Adam) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). “Days of Our Lives” presenters will include: Deidre Hall (Marlena), Christopher Sean (Paul), Freddie Smith (Sonny) and Guy Wilson (Will). Sadly only two cast members from “General Hospital” will be presenting awards, but they are fan favorites: Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Ryan Paevey (Nathan). And, from “Bold and the Beautiful” soap fans can expect to see Jacob Young (Rick), Karla Mosley (Maya) and Linsey Godfrey (Caroline).
