Soap Stars Want To Star on Reality Shows: Joshua Morrow, Chad Duell, William deVry and Others Reveal Which!

Soap stars weighed in and revealed to ABC Soaps in Depth if there is a reality TV show they’d consider an appearance on. Many stars would jump at the chance when others said there was no way they’d appear. Soap Opera Spy selected a few of the best comments from your favorite soap stars.

Chad Duell [Michael Corthinos, GH] said, “Survivor maybe. I got really into that once, but I don’t know about the challenges. I don’t like killing animals, so I wouldn’t like to decapitate a chicken or anything.”

William deVry [Julian Jerome, GH] stated,  “You can make a lot of money on reality TV, but at what cost? Do I want people to think of me as a dancer on Dancing with the Stars, or an established actor? I would love the challenge of DWTS, but I also want to continue to work in prime time throughout my daytime career. I don’t think the two correlate well together.”

Joshua Morrow [Nick Newman, Y&R] said,  “SURVIVOR! I’ve never missed an episode. It’s my passion. I love it to this day. I lay awake at night thinking about it, actually.”

Sharon Case [Sharon Newman, Y&R] stated,  “All of them! Or I’d create my own. Send a camera with me when I get together with all my girlfriends- that would be funny.”

Tyler Christopher [Nik Cassadine, GH] explained, “After Celebrity Wife Swap, which I starred opposite of Ronn Moss, I am done with reality TV for good.”

Martha Madison [Belle, DAYS] said, “I would love to do Dancing with the Stars- that would be amazing. I grew up as a dancer; it would be great to get back on the dance floor. And, I have never done partnering, so it would be a great way to learn something new.”

Casey Moss [JJ, DAYS] noted, “No, I would rather watch them than participate. I know I would get myself in serious trouble on a reality show.”
