“One Life to Live” alum Erin Torpey (ex-Jessica Buchanan) welcomed son Asher Davies von Watts into the world on Saturday, December 5. This is Torpey’s second child with husband Hamilton von Watts. The couple’s other son Izaiah was born in June 2010.
Erin posted a snapshot of a sleeping newborn Asher swaddled in a blanket to Instagram. “Asher Davies von Watts is here. We can’t believe this blessing just joined our family. This is gonna be fun. @hamsatin xoxo.” Many congratulations and blessings were posted for Erin and her family.

Two days later the actress shared another photo on Instagram as she left the hospital. Erin, holding Asher, Hamilton and Izaiah were all smiles as they headed home. Torpey captioned the photo simply “Big brother.” Once home Erin Torpey shared another photo of her peaceful sleeping newborn. This caption read, “Home sweet home!! Nothing is better. #dockatot.” Former “One Live to Live” co-star David Fumero (ex- Cristian Vega) offered congratulations. David and wife, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Melissa Fumero (“One Life to Live” ex-Adriana Cramer) are expecting their first child sometime in the spring or summer of 2016.
One more photo of Asher showed up on Erin’s Instagram feed. Erin captioned this photo, “We didn’t name him Saint like the baby he shares a birthday with but I think We could have named him angel. Eats and sleeps like a champ.” Of course, Erin was referring to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s newborn, Saint West.

Congratulations to Erin Torpey and Hamilton von Watts on the birth of their second son. Mom and baby are happy and healthy and home enjoying some family time with big brother Izaiah. The von Watts have a beautiful family and are truly blessed.
Erin guest-starred on the first season of the ABC primetime drama “Agent Carter.” Fans hope that the actress will be back for a return engagement as the radio actor Betty Carver during the show’s second season.
