Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] is feeling the pain of Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] dumping him and comes to tell his dad Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] how badly things have turned on him. Sonny has bad news of his own to share with Dante and fills him in on Ava Jerome [Maura West] winning custody of baby Avery. Sonny tells Dante he’s desperate to get his daughter back.
Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] feels guilty for missing the hearing, especially since Sonny blamed the loss unfairly on her. She thinks bringing Jason Morgan [Billy Miler] to see Sonny will make it all better so she goes to ask her BFF to come along to the hospital. Jason will go, but it won’t be exactly what she wants. Just as Jason doesn’t remember Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco], he doesn’t remember Sonny either.

Sonny will want Jason back at his side as his enforcer but the new Jason doesn’t like the violence that he’s so capable of and won’t want any of this. This may hit Sonny hard, particularly on the heels of the custody loss. Also discussing Dante’s cheating is Lulu and she’s also gone to a parent. Lulu wails to her mom about Dante’s faithlessness and Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] will offer some motherly advice.
Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] goes to Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] to talk about his role in Lulu’s heartbreak and she will tell him she knows he played the footage on purpose because he loves Lulu. Dillon can’t really defend himself and Maxie may drop out of the movie – looks like the project won’t be moving forward without some changes. Dillon will encourage Maxie to keep on with acting.
Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] decides she wants to be a grown up and get a real job so she’ll go to Julian Jerome [William deVry] to apply to be the fashion editor of his newspaper. Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] is there and may express concern, but you’ve got to admit Nina has style. Maxie will also end up with a new job that may short circuit her dreams of being an actress.

Franco [Roger Howarth] also has a busy day – Liesl Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] stops by to apologize for throwing Nina under the bus when it came to Silas Clay’s [Michael Easton] murder. Franco will make up with Dr O, of course, and she may offer him a gig as an art therapist again. Franco may be self-conscious about not working after Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] made a crack about him mooching Nina’s money.
