‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Relationships Fracture and Switch Partners – Dillon and Valerie, Dante and Lulu, Liz and Jake, Sam and Patrick

Some of Port Charles’ cutest couples are facing hard times in a big way – – and very soon. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that four couples in town are headed for the rocks and, after they split, may recouple with one another. Forget love triangles – we’ve got two major romance quadrilaterals brewing. Here’s what you have to look forward to.

Dillon and Valerie Break Up Dante and Lulu

Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] and Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] seem to have gotten away with their cheating, but it’s not near over yet. First, Valerie is still pining for Dante, no matter what she says and a few dates with rich and handsome young filmmaker Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] won’t change her heart – Val has been falling for Dante for months.

And Dante, let’s admit it, is falling right back for Valerie. That night they spent in bed was a culmination of a growing attraction between the two. Dante hopes he can forget Valerie, but seeing her with Dillon is not going to help him get past her – it’s just going to want Dante to get Val back under him! Expect to see Dante grow jealous and snappish very soon.

Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] forgave Dante pretty quickly because she was feeling uber guilty over leaving town with Dillon. Lulu also didn’t seem pleased to hear that Dillon asked out Valerie and she will be further torn when she reads through Dillon’s screenplay and starts to get romantic feelings about her ex. Look for Lulu to put herself in inappropriate circumstances with Dillon.

If Valerie spies Dillon and Lulu getting cozy, that will fuel her fire to go get cozy with Dante again. This could end up being an awkward couple swap, particularly if Val turns up pregnant with Dante’s baby. Dante and Lulu could agree to call it quits and follow their hearts to their new partners. Or, much more likely, this will explode into a four-way free for all with lots of shouting, tears and drama.

The Truth Breaks up Sam and Patrick, Liz and Jake

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] knows she’s living on borrowed time. There are too many people in Port Charles that know Jake Doe’s [Billy Miller] true identity. It’s only a matter of time before one of them leaks the secret. Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] knows, as does Laura Spencer [Genie Francis], Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher], Lucky Spencer [Jonathan Jackson] and likely others.

The question is not when Jake will find out he’s Jason, but from whom. It will be very soon. There’s been a persistent rumor that Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] will propose to Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and he might put a ring on it if he gets an inkling that Jake is Jason to try and keep her with him instead of running off to her mob assassin husband. Patrick can rationalize it to himself.

And even if Jake can get past the knowledge that Liz betrayed him, he does have real feelings for her and, as yet, does not remember Sam or any affections they shared. Will Jake toss Liz away for something he doesn’t remember? Or might Jake just walk away to be alone? Either way, we know Jake will want his kids, it’s the women that are a question mark for him.

Sam will likely walk away from Patrick, though, to try and win Jason back and that leaves him single and available. It’s easy to see that Patrick and Liz might commiserate over their heartbreak and get involved – if Liz stays in town. Rumor has it that Rebecca Herbst is thinking of leaving GH for a while. Either way, there is little luck that these two couples will make it another six weeks before imploding.
