‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Maxie and Spinelli Hot Loving After Fluke’s Escape Distracts Nathan – Georgie’s Illness Reunites Parents

Here’s a look at some interesting developments today and coming up this week on ‘General Hospital‘ with two of my favorite Port Charles sweeties – Maxie and Spinelli.

If anyone thought that Damien Spinelli [Bradford Anderson] was going to walk away from baby mama Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] without a fight, think again! Spinelli told Maxie last week – flat out – that he thinks she still loves him. Then the Jackal went in for the kiss and man did Maxie kiss back. She had her hand all in his hair and was digging it. If only Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] hadn’t walked in… I wonder how far Spinelli would have gotten with his lady love?

But Nathan was there and the moment was lost but Spinelli left full of hope, sure that Maxie and Nathan would break it off. In fact, Nathan did try to let her go but Maxie couldn’t say no to that chiseled hottie cop and got him to agree to a sexy evening at home with her. Spinelli showed back up and was unhappy to see them reconciled and planning to get jiggy. But did that stop him? No! The Jackal cannot be intimidated even by all that manly muscle that is Nathan.

When Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] comes home and fills Spinelli in on the big Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] outbreak from Shadybrooke (that loony bin seems to have a revolving door), the Jackal pounced. He convinced Dante to call Nathan and take him with him to talk to resident nuts Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Franco [Roger Howarth] knowing it would tank the romantic evening just warming up over at Maxie’s place. Perfect execution!

Nathan rushed off then Spinelli rushed over to take advantage. And while no one wants to ever wish for a child to fall ill, little Georgie Spinelli [Harper Rose Barash] catching the flu worked like a charm for her clever daddy. When Felicia Jones [Kristina Wagner] called Maxie to tell her that sweet baby Georgie had a 104 degree fever and was in the ER, Maxie and Spinelli rushed off to check on her. And since Lucas Jones [Ryan Carnes] recommended that Georgie stay overnight, that helps Spinelli more.

Maxie and Spinelli are preparing to spend the night together in Georgie’s room to oversee their baby’s care. That means that Nathan’s night of romance is officially dead and the Jackal has his lady love all to himself for the night. Pile on top of that the positive vibes that come from co-parenting and Spinelli may yet be able to woo Maxie from sexy Nathan.

And here’s something else to think about – Spinelli has full custody of their daughter. He’s the one who has been taking care of Georgie when she’s sick. Having the chance to care for little Georgie when she’s sick will tug at Maxie’s heart strings and make her want to always be there for her little girl. And the best way to do that is to lock down Spinelli as her sweetie (maybe even as her hubby). Those abs of Nathan are enticing, but he’s got nothing on that little girl.

Not only will Maxie realize this but so will Nathan. Spoilers indicate that Nathan will officially bow out making it easy for Maxie to reunite with Spinelli for good. Fingers crossed for the official return of Spixie. I will miss seeing Nathan shirtless, but I can’t imagine it will be too long before he’s shedding his tight Ts for a new lady…
