‘General Hospital’ Spoilers July 9: Dante Wants To Confess-Has Feelings For Valerie, Carly Gives Info To Lulu, Sonny Blasts Dillon

People are coming back from the dead and the brink of death! Check out these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the Thursday, July 8th show.

Back from the dead is little Jake Spencer who will be back in his mother Liz Webber’s [Rebecca Herbst] arms, perhaps by week’s end. And back from the brink of death is Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig]. She’s coming out of her coma, but will Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] give Hayden a fighting chance or try and snuff her out again before she can blab the Jason secret?

Also at the hospital is Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] who has her kid Josslyn Jacks [Hannah Nordberg] there for her yearly cancer check up. Ironically, it was Joss that supposedly got little Jake’s kidney’s, but we know now that can’t be true. Where did those kidneys come from really? No doubt Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers] pilfered them from some poor innocent child.

And we also know that Helena is responsible for the kidnapping of Lucky Spencer [Jonathan Jackson] and Ethan Lovett [Nathan Parsons]. Helena is also likely the one who has had little Jake all this time. Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] is gearing up to take on Helena and Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] tells him she’s coming along, but Luke wants her out of harm’s way. Laura isn’t ready to back down.

Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] feels like a horrible jerk because Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] didn’t cheat and he did. Dante is all ready to confess to Lulu that he got it on with Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] when Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] shows up. Dillon backs up Lulu’s story, but Dante is aggravated with Dillon’s interruption and then doesn’t confess his infidelity.

Plus Dante still has Valerie on his mind. After Dillon stops by, Lulu heads over to the hospital and runs into Carly there. Lulu tells Carly that her brother Lucky Spencer [Jonathan Jackson] was kidnapped and then rescued. And then Carly lets slip that while Lulu was gone, an upset Dante smooched on her cousin Val. Will Lulu run back to Dante with this? Or to Val? Or will Lulu wait and watch?

TJ Ashford [Tequan Richmond] is comfortable making his home at Chez Corinthos now but is concerned that his growing closeness to Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] will trigger his mom Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] to go nuts. He’s not wrong. Commish Jordan tells Valerie that she’s going to find something to arrest Sonny for and toss him in jail.

During this sharing moment, Valerie shares that she got too close to Detective Dante after he had some marriage problems. The number of people in Port Charles that know that Dante and Valerie have stepped over the friendship line is growing. And Sonny runs into Dillon and lays into him for running off with Lulu and crapping all over his son’s marriage. Dillon tries to explain, but Sonny’s not hearing it.

Then over at the Quartermaines, Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] decides to abandon her trip to find out how Nikolas got Brook Lynn’s ELQ shares. She brings Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] home with her and says even if he was a cheating jerk when they were married, at least he’s a distraction from her Luke and ELQ woes. Dillon will be shocked to see his dad when he shows up.
