‘General Hospital’ Spoilers, July 29: Silas Goes To Confess Kidnapping, Catches Morgan and Ava In Bed – Nina Asks For Divorce, Ric Panics

Today in Port Charles, it’s all about crime. Check out these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for Wednesday July 29.

Kidnapping criminal Silas Clay [Michael Easton] shows up to Scotty Baldwin’s [Kin Shriner] office to confess that he baby-napped Avery Corinthos. Silas doesn’t want Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] to go to jail for his crime but too bad Scotty isn’t around. Instead, Silas finds Franco [Roger Howarth] there. Franco was trying to keep his promise to Ava Jerome [Maura West] to steal the flash drive.

Franco is annoyed to be interrupted in his own act of crime and asks Silas if he stopped by to confess to the DA that he was the real kidnapper. Silas doesn’t want to deal with Franco who also drops the truth bomb that he knows Denise is Ava and all of Silas’ dirty laundry. Franco also offers up the tidbit that Ava and Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] are doing the nasty behind Kiki Jerome’s [Hayley Erin] back.

Silas leaves aggravated and heads to ask Ava why she screwed him over by telling Franco about the kidnapping and just plain screwed Morgan. Ava, meanwhile, gets a visit from Morgan who vents to her about Franco pulling a butcher knife on him and threatening to kill him for cheating on Kiki. The conversation then turns carnal and they get jiggy just in time for Silas to catch them in the act.

Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] goes to visit Port Charles’ top criminal Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] who is hanging out with fiancee Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright]. They share the good news of their impending repeat nuptials. Laura considers telling them that Jake Doe [Billy Miller] is really Jason. Another crime is committed when Sonny’s organization is hit again. Is it Ava up to no good?

And on the “who is Jake” front, Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] tells Jake that he suspects strongly that Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] knows his identity. Then they wonder if Nikolas told Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] who Jake was and if she will be able to tell Jake the truth when/if she wakes. They also debate confronting Nikolas to demand answers about who Jake is.

Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] tells Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] that she wishes that Jason was alive to get to know not only Danny, but also his son with Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] now that little Jake Spencer [James Nigbor] is back in Port Charles. What can Patrick say to that? Likely Patrick is wishing Sam would move on and just be happy with him.

And evil jerk and criminal Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] is shocked when Nina, on advice of Ava, asks him for a divorce. Ric scrambles to give Nina a dozen reasons why that’s a bad idea and then he has to figure out how to fast-track getting his wife in the loony bin so he and Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] can steal her millions. The walls are closing in on Ric fast – what will he do next?
