Cheaters and liars feature prominently on Tuesday’s GH – here are a few ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you revved up for today’s show, July 28.
Cheater Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] gets a house call from Port Charles’ reformed sociopath Franco [Roger Howarth]. Franco is not happy that Morgan can’t keep it in his pants when he’s around Ava/Denise DeMuccio [Maura West] and is cheating on Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin]. Franco loves Kiki like a pseudo-daughter and won’t let Ava and Morgan crush her with their sex shenanigans.
Liar Ava meanwhile is scrambling to try and get Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] interested in Franco so she can keep Franco happy and from blabbing to Kiki about her and Morgan’s secret affair. Denise has breakfast with Nina and talks up Franco – she’ll show what a great BF he is and that will spark some jealousy in Nina who is very unhappy with how hubby Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] is treating her.
And Nina doesn’t even know the half of it – her hubby Ric is both a liar and a cheater. Not only is he bedding her evil mom Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] but he’s also lying about caring about her and is plotting to steal her money. Now that Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] has the baby blanket, Nina is worried that Ric is selling her down the river and that she will be arrested for kidnapping.

But Nathan sees the blanket not as evidence of Nina doing anything wrong, but of Madeline and Ric being up to something. Nathan is a sharp cookie and knows something is going on – he’s not going to let Nina take the fall for something she didn’t do. Nathan takes the blanket to his boss Commish Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] and tells her something is up with the kidnapping they need to look into.
Madeline will be furious at Ric that Nathan took off with the blanket because no matter what, she doesn’t want Nina implicated in the kidnapping. Maddy wants the money and is happy to send Nina to the nuthouse, but not to prison on a felony conviction. Ric will calm her down and remind her he’s a lawyer and can handle Nathan and the PCPD, but things aren’t looking good.
Big fat fibber Silas Clay [Michael Easton] will hear that the PCPD may consider Nina a person of interest in the baby Avery kidnapping. When Nina turns to him for help, Silas will confess to her what happened because he doesn’t want her punished for what he did to save Ava’s life. But Nina will not thank him for the news since she’s been tormenting herself for months thinking she did the crime.
And while cheater Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] is smarting from Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] calling her a home-wrecking bitch, she accepts Dillon Quartermaine’s [Robert Palmer Watkins] offer to date so they can get Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] to relax about Val kissing Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna]. Val will tell Dante about this and he’ll be jealous at the idea of Dillon sexing her up.

Oh good Lord, thanks for the warnings. I didn’t even bother watching the show today. I have no, zip, none, nada interest in Morgan, Franco, Ava/Denise, Kiki, Nina, Ric, Madeline, Ava, Silas, Valerie, or even Dillon. Quite honestly, I don’t even know who some of those characters are; they’re just interchangeable blobs in all the insufferable screen clutter.
When, when, when do the new writers’ scripts kick in? Can one of the decent characters PLEASE wake up to find Bobbie in the shower, so we can find out that the last few years were just a bad dream?
I think it is going to take about 6 weeks to see what the new writers are doing.
