‘General Hospital’ Spoilers, July 24: Laura Confides In Scotty, Luke Tells Bobbie He’s Leaving, Nathan Suspicious of Madeline

Lots going on in Port Charles on Friday – don’t miss the show! Here are some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the July 24 episode.

Poor Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] is just clueless about what her boyfriend Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] is up to. When Kiki finds Morgan all sweaty and sexy, she asks what’s got him so lathered up. It’s her mom/aunt Ava Jerome/Denise DeMuccio [Maura West] that’s got him all sexed up. But since Ava isn’t there at the moment and he doesn’t want Kiki to have any suspicions, he beds Kiki too.

Morgan will be caught soon in his steamy lies, so he might as well as enjoy bedding both mother and daughter while he can. The question is, will he end up with Kiki or Ava? And is there still a chance for a reveal that Morgan is really baby Avery’s true dad? This story is one that deserves plenty more screen time. Franco [Roger Howarth] is not happy about this whole thing.

Franco tells Ava that she needs to keep it in her pants and come clean to Kiki so her daughter can know she’s alive and not keeping thinking her crazy Aunt Denise is a real thing. But Ava’s story has so many moving parts right now. It’s very likely that Ava was the one who stole Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard] shipment and shot his guy. Julian Jerome [William deVry] did tell her to have a go at it…

Also, Ava will remind Franco that she can’t come out as Ava until he gets the evidence from his DA dad Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] so she can’t be prosecuted for murder. Ava did not go to all this trouble just to be sent back to prison. But some advanced ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Ava and Franco may both be in mortal peril soon. Rumors point to Ava and Franco being taken out in a mob shooting!

Speaking of Scotty, Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] runs into her ex at the MetroCourt bar. Laura needs a stiff drink after dealing with the huge helping of BS that her son Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] just unloaded on her about the Jake Doe [Billy Miller] secret. Laura has had it with her son acting like a true Cassadine. Laura tells Scotty she has a secret then ponders telling him about Jake.

Laura’s other ex Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] meets up with his sister Bobbie Spencer [Jaclyn Zeman] at the old Spencer place. Bobbie is worried when she sees the gun but Luke reassures her that he has a whole new purpose now. He reveals that he’s going to check out of Port Charles for good and go find the better part of him as his ghostly mom encouraged him to do.

Also at the MetroCourt, Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] and Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] sit down to a romantic dinner only to be joined by Nathan’s meddling mom Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills]. Madeline tells him that she’s terribly concerned about his big sis Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] who seems to be slipping back into her old mentally ill patterns.

Nathan doesn’t buy that his sister is off the rails or that his mother is concerned about anyone besides herself. Madeline wants Nathan to believe that Nina is going nuts so he won’t fight when her plot sees his sister re-committed to Shadybrook, but Madeline will rouse his suspicions. Nathan will start keeping an eye on Madeline and Nina so he can protect his sister from whatever she’s plotting.

Good timing too since Nina really does need some protection. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is ramping up his activities to convince Nina that she’s coming unhinged mentally. Ric already got her to sign over a conservatorship to him while she was distracted by Franco. Now Ric just needs to get Nina to admit she’s crazy and needs a mental health break at the clinic – then Ric can steal her millions.
