Scheming and secrets are the order of the day on Tuesday – here are some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the Tuesday, July 21 show.
Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] and Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] are fast-tracking their gaslight plan for Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] because they can’t wait to get their hands on Nina’s millions – and also can’t seem to keep their hands off each other (ick). Just as Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] is set for a romantic welcome-home evening with sweetie Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms], Maddy will swoop in.

Madeline will work hard to convince Nathan that Nina is back to her old crazy ways and may have even kidnapped baby Avery. All of this is so that when Ric moves to send Nina back to Shadybrook, Nathan won’t try and fight it. But will he believe his sister is off the deep end or distrust his shady mom Madeline? Maddy won’t miss a chance to also point out that Maxie isn’t good enough for her son.
Out at Wyndemere, Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] now knows that Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] is still keeping secrets from her since she overheard the whole Jake Doe [Billy Miller] is really Jason Morgan thing between Nik and Liz. Laura wonders why Nik didn’t come clean with her when he was confessing about ELQ. Laura wonders why Liz is scheming with Nik.

Liz also wants answers from Nik. She wants to know if Nik knew that little Jake Spencer [James Nigbor] was on Cassadine Island – and really, how could he not have known? Liz will also lament that she really doesn’t like keeping Jason’s identity a secret now that his son is back to the living and she wants them to be together. Nik will point out that Jake and Jason are together no matter what.
Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] also wants answers about the little Jake mystery and will take daughter Josslyn Jacks [Hannah Nordberg] back to GH for another workup so she can find out what’s up with the kidney, who it belongs to and was her daughter’s health compromised. Fortunately, Jake is at Carly’s side and will be her rock (just like Jason always was) during this trying time.
Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] doesn’t have time to help out since he’s far too busy trying to figure out who stole his shipment and shot his guy. Sonny confronts Julian Jerome [William deVry] certain that he’s the culprit. Julian is really and truly out of the business and tells Sonny flat out it wasn’t him and he’s ready to prove his innocence. But was it Ava Jerome [Maura West] that did it?
Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] are also wondering if Julian is keeping secrets from them and hasn’t really washed his hands of his mob ties. It seems like Julian has a lot to prove to a lot of people before he can convince them he’s really gone legitimate. It won’t help if his sister Denise/Ava is implicated but Julian did tell her to help herself to the territory.
PCPD head honcho Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] is not going to let a mob war break out under her watch. Jordan tells Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] to haul his mobster dad in so she can curb his gangster tendencies. And while Jordan has Dante in her office, she chews him out for cheating on his wife with coworker Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi].
Later, Jordan will come to Valerie’s rescue when Dante’s jealous wife Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] shows up to stage a confrontation at the work place. Lulu wants to know how dare Val lay lips on her husband and also wants to know if there was more to it than just a kiss. This nasty exchange will result in Valerie breaking down and Jordan comforting her. Lulu won’t get any answers.
And on the Haunted Star, Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] comes to see Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] but it’s not for the reconciliation he’s hoping for. Instead, Tracy will make it clear she’s not taking up with her ex Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] nor is she taking Luke back. Tracy doesn’t want anyone around to tear her heart out again. Luke will propose (yet again) and Tracy will decline.
