‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers: Valerie, Dante, Lulu Love Triangle Heats Up – Will Dillon Expose Cheating?

It was only a few weeks ago that fans were complaining that “General Hospital” characters Lulu (Emme Rylan), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Valerie (Brynti Sarpy), and Dillon(Robert Palmer Watkins) had nothing going on- script wise. In fact, fans complained that Dante has never had any real storyline. The writers heard your cry and delivered; Dante is involved in a whooper of a love triangle with the added spice of throwing in a (maybe) pregnancy to the storyline. What could go wrong, right?

Dillon knows that Valerie slept with Dante, who just so happens to be (happily) married to Lulu Spencer. They share a son together and have the picture-perfect life, right? That was until Valerie came on the scene and wanted exactly what Lulu had- a good man who loves her.

Valerie admitted that she had a great sense of loss after her mother died, and she is longed-for someone to be in her corner. She needed someone to turn to in times of turmoil. Without her mom around, she is left alone most of the time. Fans have speculated for a few weeks that Valerie will end up with a bun in the oven. The actress regularly rubs her tummy and seems to be knocked up, but has not revealed a pregnancy yet. She seems to love Dante (or be infatuated) even though his wife, Lulu is family- new family.

“General Hospital” head scribes Jean Passanante, and Shelly Altman revealed in an ABC Soaps In Depth exclusive interview that the love triangle would be a focal point in November sweeps. A few days ago, Dillion almost revealed the details about Dante and Valerie’s encounter, but Lulu stopped him. She told him to stop talking and refused to listen to him. He told Valerie later that he almost blew her cover. As expected, Valerie was quite relieved that her secret was safe- for now.

Now that the secret is itching to get out in the open, how will Lulu react if (and when) she learns of the encounter? If Valerie turns up pregnant, will that be the last straw for Dante and Lulu? One thing is for certain, November sweeps will be explosive with so many storylines coming to the front burner.
