‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, August 6: Murder Whodunnit Starts – Nathan Questions Franco, Dante Questions Ava, Liz Panics

Today we start digging into who killed Silas Clay [Michael Easton] – here are some juicy ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the Thursday August 6 show.

First, be prepared for a month of whodunnit. We will not get the reveal on who killed Silas for a full month. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] takes a crack at Franco [Roger Howarth] to ask him why he had the murder weapon and why he presumably killed Silas. Will Franco tell Nathan that Silas kidnapped baby Avery? Or is that a bad idea because that shows motive?

Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] wants Franco out of jail bad since she knows he didn’t kill Silas and she loves him. Nina will, surprisingly, turn to her husband Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] for help. For Ric, it’s better that Franco can’t get to Nina, but he does need to keep Nina calm and tucked away in Shadybrook, so he’ll have to agree to help. Ric’s a good lawyer so he should be able to get Franco out.

Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is on his way back to Port Charles after his violent meeting with the Five Families. The Russian guy told Sonny that he’s buying Corinthos stolen goods from a Jerome middle man. That means that either Julian Jerome [William deVry] or Ava Jerome [Maura West] are involved. More likely it’s Julian since Ava has her hands full with Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig].

Speaking of Morgan, a very upset Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] tells Morgan about the voice mail Silas left her. She says her dad wanted to tell her something important and Morgan wants to make sure that Silas didn’t indicate that it had anything to do with him or Denise. Morgan will be relieved that he hasn’t been outed but still has to deal with Kiki’s wailing about her dad. She’s now lost both parents (as far as she knows).

Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] comes to the Jerome’s door asking about Silas’ death. Ava may assume that Franco sent them in her direction, which he may have since he’s got Nina back and assumes Ava could be the real killer. Julian and Denise are both up to no good. Looks like Julian may still be mob-adjacent and Denise may be ready to tell her brother she’s really Ava back from the dead.

Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] waking up is going to ruffle many feathers in Port Charles. Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] is not buying Hayden’s line that she has no clue who Jake Doe [Billy Miller] really is. Sam tells her she knows she’s running a scam but Hayden is with it enough to push back hard and tells Sam off. Hayden also has something to tell Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson].

Sam is going to have to tell Patrick that she’s been helping Jake sort out his identity issues and that she didn’t tell Patrick because she and Jake suspect Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] may be feeding information to Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] who they know is wrapped up somehow with Hayden.

Related to this, Jake tells Liz that Hayden is awake and talking and Liz will be panic until Jake tells her he’s frustrated that Hayden doesn’t seem to remember his identity. Liz can’t wait to tell Nik this update, proving that Sam and Jake had a point about her not being trustworthy. Liz will demand answers from Nikolas about Hayden’s shootings, but she may not like what she hears.
