So much is going on with Silas Clay’s [Michael Easton] murder on Monday in Port Charles – here are some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the August 10 episode.
Monday on GH, we’ll see two murder scenes played out in all their glory that culminate in Silas’s stabbing. One is at the hands of Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] and the other at the hands of Ava Jerome aka Denise DeMuccio [Maura West]. First we’ll look at those scenarios and then the other action to expect on Monday’s show.
First, Ava has snuck into the PCPD to make sure that Franco [Roger Howarth] won’t spill the beans about who she is to the cops. Franco already thinks that Ava killed Silas and she reinforces it by showing him a photo she snapped of Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] holding the bloody knife which confirms that Ava was in the apartment when (or soon after) Silas was killed.

Franco will tell Ava he’s certain that she did it and he will describe – and we will see – how Ava came there to beg Silas not to tell Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] that she’s really her mother back from the dead who is once again shagging Morgan. When Silas refuses and turns his back to call Kiki and tell her the truth, Ava stabs him in the back then hides behind the door when Nina comes in.
From there, Ava sneaks into the hall and snaps the photo as Nina pulls out the knife. Ava makes it clear to Franco that if he rats her out to the PCPD about being Ava and alive, she’ll hand the photo over to the cops and Nina will go down for Silas’ murder. Too bad Dr Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] already called Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] and told him that Franco has a suspect for him to consider.
We see the second scenario come to life when Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] and Sorry Corinthos [Maurice Benard] confront Morgan and ask if he killed Silas to keep him quiet about his affair with Denise. Carly describes a vivid scene where Morgan comes to plead with Silas who rejects Morgan’s request and goes to dial Kiki and is stabbed in the back by Morgan.

Carly tells Morgan maybe he just snapped and had a bad moment and acted out of sorts. Or maybe Morgan has gone nuts like his dad Sonny – some ‘General Hospital’ rumors are swirling that Morgan may turn out to be bipolar like Sonny and may have killed Silas in some sort of manic fit of rage. But it’s not likely that Morgan did the deed, no matter how vividly Carly has imagined it.
Nina wants to know who the other suspect is they may consider and he tells her it’s Ava, Nina may give Nathan some info to help the investigation. Look for Nina to be ready to throw herself on her own sword to save Franco. Kiki will turn to Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] for advice to ask if she thinks Franco is capable of killing Silas. Sam is no fan of Franco’s and will tell her he’s capable of murder.
Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] shows up at GH to – predictably – threaten Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] and tells her if she tells Jake Doe [Billy Miller] that he’s really Jason Morgan, he’ll finish the job that last bullet started. Will Hayden pledge to keep quiet or will she continue to play her partial amnesia game? Either way, Nik will scare her into silence.
Jake also admits to Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] that he’s been keeping a secret from her. How much will he tell her about his and Sam’s investigation into Nikolas? And will Jake admit that he suspects that she’s been feeding all his personal information to Nik? Nah. Jake will only tell her enough to cover his butt in case Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] blabs to her about what Sam told him.
