‘General Hospital’ News: Sean Blakemore Returns As Shawn Butler On ‘GH’

‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that Sean Blakemore will be making a special appearance on the ABC soap opera on Thursday November 19.  ‘GH‘ fans have not seen Blakemore’s character Shawn Butler since May 2015!  Shawn Butler, who is most well known as Sonny Corinthos’s henchman left Port Charles and went away to prison after he plead guilty to shooting Hayden Barnes.  Since his exit, no one has paid Shawn a visit at the jail – so he has been off the canvas entirely.

Sean Blakemore shared the exciting ‘General Hospital’ news about his appearance on Thursday’s episode on Twitter.  Blakemore tweeted this message to his followers and ‘GH’ fans, “See u tomorrow as I return 4 a surprise on GH tomorrow. ..thx 4 the luv/support everyone.”

According to ‘General Hospital‘ spoilers, Hayden Barnes will be visiting Shawn Butler in prison because she is searching for answers.  Hayden seems to think that he isn’t the person who really shot her, and she wants to find the real shooter.  For those of you who don’t remember, Hayden wound up shot in the head earlier this year while bullets were flying left and right.  She found herself in the crossfire between Shawn Butler and Jason Morgan/Jake Doe (Billy Miller) – but there was also another person on the scene that Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) had hired to do his dirty work.
