‘General Hospital’ News: Ryan Carnes Shares Hilarious Photo With ‘Y&R’s Sean Carrigan – Crazy Airport Story

“General Hospital” (GH) Ryan Carnes (Dr. Lucas Jones) lost his boarding pass on a return trip home from Montreal. The actor was traveling with “The Young and the Restless” Sean Carrigan (Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn), who almost wasn’t allowed on the flight.

Ryan was headed home from Soap Star Weekend Benefitting Autism when he ran into some trouble at the airport. Carnes posted a snapshot with Carrigan on Instagram with a lengthy explanation of what happened. We’ll try to summarize! The black-and-white photo of Ryan and Sean giving the “OK” sign caption begins, “With my homie @therealseancarrigan at #lax after we tore up Montreal. And after I lost my boarding pass (security didn’t give it back to me) And after I got fired up at the gate agent.”

The “GH” soap star didn’t exactly lose his boarding pass – it seems it wasn’t given back to him at the security check point at the Montreal airport. But the craziness didn’t stop there for Ryan Carnes and Sean Carrigan – it was just the beginning.

The Instagram post continues, “And after customs threatened to kick me out of the Toronto airport. And after they took Sean’s bag off the plane because they thought we were missing the flight.” Sounds like a fun time, NOT! Missing your flight can be complicated enough because usually that means you will have to wait until the next flight, so we can understand Ryan’s frustration. And nearly getting kicked out of the Toronto airport? It’s a long way from Tornoto to Los Angeles. If the guys had been kicked out of the airport it would take quite some time for the actors to get home. Ryan and Sean may even have found themselves in some legal trouble!

Carnes wrapped up the Instagram post, saying, “And after this guy said “no, I’m not getting in the flight without my homie.” And after we finally made it on the flight after I ran the length of the airport twice. #bteam #eaglehaslanded.” After all the hassles, Ryan Carnes and Sean Carrigan made it home safely. And Ryan got in some unexpected exercise!

The Soap Star Weekend Benefitting Autism in Montreal took place on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29. Other soap stars that were in attendance included Ryan’s “GH” co-star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), and Sean’s “Y&R” co-stars Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin). Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) and John Driscoll (ex-Chance Chancellor).
