“General Hospital” (GH) alum Lilly Melgar (Lily Corinthos) has been very busy with a new project. Melgar is starring in “Boo” – a new short horror film directed by Hans Carrillo. Lilly shared a brief clip of “Boo” with Twitter followers – “Check out my new short! #BOO directed by @mrhanscarrilo.” What is Melgar’s role in the horror short? The trailer for “Boo” reads, “Do you believe in ghosts? Samantha is about to find out that there really is life after death.” If the clip is any indication “Boo” is scarier than it sounds.

But, “Boo” isn’t the only project keeping Lilly Melgar busy these days. She is also one of the stars of the sexy, sophisticated Daytime Emmy winning web series “The Bay The Series.” Melgar returns as Janice Ramos for the fourth season of the series that is described as “blurring the lines between daytime and primetime television.”
“General Hospital” fans may remember Lilly Melgar as Lily Rivera Corinthos who fell in love with Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin) and got pregnant with his baby. Lily’s father shipped her off to a convent after she gave birth and forced Lily to give the baby boy up for adoption. At the time Lily believed Miguel was dead and refused to have anything further to do with her father.
